I'm struggling with my research on Milton Keynes... Grid roads, linear parks and roundabouts is all I've got so far. I'm better than that.
PLT just offered an olive branch. You've snatched it, broke it into little pieces, shat on them, shoved them in a plastic bag and handed it back.
How do you hope to determine your opinion of them? Won't the very fact that they join the Trust's board put you off them?
Think that gets said of me a fair bit. BTW OLM, do we have to do anything to renew our membership? Few blokes over here who don't know if we have to do anything.
Rick Skelton and myself will be stepping down from the board at today's trust meeting, we hope that the last of the CTWD types removing themselves will aid the relationship between the club and the trust. We have very able replacements lined up to take up the baton this morning and wish them every success.
That's a strong decision; someone has to try and create relationship change and it is good to see that you have both put the Trust and the Club first, yet again. I would like to thank you both for what you have accomplished and what you will pass on for the future of Hull City AFC; I hope you feel it was all worthwhile, because, in my opinion, it was. Enjoy your football.
All the best, and well done on all your hard work. Would you be seeking reappointment if/when the club is sold?
Although we disagree on a few things, ironically you're the 2 I admire the most from HCST. I don't, and haven't, ever seen either of you as the problem I have with the ST. I know you especially (Rick too obvz) have the best for Hull City at the very centre of your beings, so fair play for this decision, which can't have been easy. Gaylord.
It'd be an easy decision for me. Can't imagine why anyone could be arsed toguve up their free time for these things. Not that that's a criticism, as someone has to do these sort of things, it's good there's people around who are willing.
Certainly gretton was always a sticking point. Not sure about others. Happy did always say get rid of Gretton and you have more chance. It's been a wasted year to me.
Chazz mate, why don't you attend the AGM and see for yourself what goes on there? You'd be in a far better position to judge then.
Got to say, given the way the club treats its supporters and just thinking about what has happened lately coming from the club such as closing down the ticket office and deliberately making things as awkward as possible to get tickets, turnstile entrance machines not working because of crap installation, some of you must be quite satisfied with the way the club are in relationships with its supporters. I say this because it doesn't matter what supporters organisation is mentioned on here, the same names crop up time and again criticising those supporters organisations and what they do. Its all well and good sitting back and voicing your opinions, which you have every right to do, but you are not pro active. Instead of being key board warriors and moaning about organisations which you are not members of, giving them your advice over a web site, but not joining and putting your voice to said organisation why don't you devote your time and ideas and join one of them. These organisations are doing their damnest to get meetings arranged to put a supporters voice across to the ownership. But you come on here and moan like f..k about how they are run and how pathetic you think they are. Its pathetic and demeaning and if you are just plain not interested in them then don't moan about them, because at the end of the day they are just trying to make relationships better with the club and trying to enhance the supporters experience on match days.
So true or false. Gretton being chairman was untenable? Happy and others said that ages ago. Now Olm thinks its wise to dispense with all the ctwd committee. Thats not moaning its offering constructive advice. You say all the above and how bad the Allams are yet membership hasnt gone up in 9 months. Putting it up here and letting a lot of people who arent members discuss it or read it would have been helpful in attracting new members surely? Theres well over 2000 members of Not606 and only 1100 of the Trust. Theres a captive audience. Why do you think people havent joined? The Trust may go in a new direction with a new Board, this may attract new members. We shall see.
