Although I don't blame him to be fair. He's clearly **** scared of losing his job at the hands of the mental Venkys club owners who haven't got a clue how to run a football club and have vastly underestimate how much it costs to build any sort of decent team.

I have to feel sorry for the fans.

Steve Kean is the kind of puppet that I have grown to hate in football, seen to many of them at NUFC to spot one from a mile off.

I pity the guy. Any manager who has to cope with clueless owners has to be applauded,

He is clueless as a manager and he'll just be used by the Venkys owners until they get bored and ship him out.

And what's their first step to improvement? Talk about a club whose actions DON'T speak louder than their words

<laugh> Unless they get some real investment in the team then it's never going to happen. I can see them being in real trouble next seaon.

To push either Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City or Arsenal out of the top 4, I really think they would need to invest at least £200million, and probably more. They would definitely have to be one of the biggest spenders in the league for the next 4/5 years.

That's not so unrealistic for some teams like Man City, but so far, Venky's haven't shown much willing to spend anything. I think they've severely underestimated just how much it all costs.

What was Blackburn's average attendance last year? About 25'000? Their season tickets are one of the cheapest in the league too. How do they expect to make any money back if they invest? Truth is they don't, so they won't.

Kean talks a good game like doesn't he?? I think Blackburn will struggle this season. Along with Wigan and the 3 promoted.

to be fair i think liverpool will throw arsenal out of the top 4 either this season or the one after.

so yeah blackburn has alllot of competition, i think their a 10-15 type of club tbh. neither here nor there.

makes a change to have another team spouting on about a 4yr plan instead of us and equally deluded with their owners, guess they need to sell a few more chickens

I hated Andy Gray's commentary on Fifa but I always found it funny when he said Blackburn cant attract decent players as its a horrible place to live lol

Deluded indeed, these owners are clueless. I think survival is their main target this season, and it would take masses of spending to get to that top 4- look how long it's taken man city. Just how rich are those venky boys anyways?
I recon this Steve Kean will be one of the first managers to go this season.
