He's lazy too often but you can't doubt he's got ability. Plenty of worse wide players in the Prem.

 

Plenty far better as well. Never takes on a man enough for my liking, just thoughtlessly crosses it and hopes for the best.

Not accepting that WBA bid for him was remarkable, can't imagine Pulis would have put up with his laziness though.

 

With Austin and now Polter, an early cross is often the better move and it's his strength in fairness. I wouldn't say it's thoughtless on his part. Running into the full-back is thoughtless.

 

What happened to those great Scottish teams and players. Where are the Laws, Gemmels, Souness and Dalglish's etc? (sp)
