just watched his best seasons - 2010-2013 on Youtube and he scores a lot of goals from close in. Seems to get in the right place to score goals, rather than having a thunderous shot on him. Should link up well with JK and LT.

He will certainly scare a few defences

Wow! What was it that people were saying that Lee didn't have the connections to make quality signings? Off course Warnock's acquisition of Paddy Kenny is a superior signing :emoticon-0173-middl:emoticon-0136-giggl

Very impressive if it pays off. Whether it was LJ or Ashton

Odemwingie was at the Baggies for a while so known to Ashton as a member of staff or as a fan.

First thoughts are it could be a very good signing for us when he is match fit.

I'm sure if it pays off it will be Ashton's influence and if he fails miserably it will be LJ's fault.

On face value looks a very good signing - let's hope he's match fit

Think this is a excellent bit of business by LJ or his masters.

Now get us the goals to keep us in the championship Ode,welcome to Ashton Gate.

Much against my usual morning wake up moaning this one has shocked me to the core. What is Lee thinking of to actually sign a player that I've heard of and let's hope it is the portent of things to come. My only complaint is why not sooner?

He is out of contract at Stoke end of season, so probably with a view to a permanent deal.

He is 34. Didn't realise he was quite that old. But if he fits in, wants to come here permanently, and does the business for us then we might get a decent couple of seasons or so out of him.

Think we shouldn't go overboard on a 34year old who's hardly played this season.
FFS let's see how he plays and more importantly how Junior 'sets up' with him in the side.
From his time at WBA he looks decidedly useful, so fingers crossed.
Junior, he nor Kodija will appreciate another 'Cardiff' so help them out mate.

Wow, BIG signing, blown away by this one. Just goes to show that LJ and the guys upstairs are finally taking notice of what we the fans say.

Now we are going to have to totally adjust our game to actually feed the ball into the box at the earliest possible opportunity to let the chap do his stuff...!!!

That's a decent looking line up! A great signing and hopefully he hits the ground running. His goals for games average at about 1 in 4. This has mainly come from the top divisions in Europe. We've 10 games left and I can see him getting about 3-5 goals. Hopefully it's 5 goals and they're all 1-0 wins!

Looks a good signing, whether it turns out to be or not will test on 2 things
    1. His match fitness, we can't afford him to take a month.
    2. His ego, we have all read the reports of him at previous clubs....

So you think that LJ as listened to the fans, what a load of crap that is, if he did, then he's not going to be the manager I hope he is going to be.
