They all made a run at the ball. I'm sure that's going to be the decision moaned about after the game if we lose so I give up. No one is making any complaints about it anywhere but here.
They were all in an offside position when the original shot that was saved went in. As none made any attempt to actually collect the ball then no, you're wrong they weren't offside or interfering with play in any way, shape or form.
All that hard work undone by one stupid mistake. Get him off, he's really slowing the game down. Conversely, Huddlestone has looked very good and Diame looks far more effective deeper as it allows the forward players to work together, instead of being isolated. What's that? Hmm? I already said all this before? You sure? Fair enough.
Savage pointed out that it was the wrong decision. Doubt they'll spend the whole break talking about it like they did with the Bruce handball though. Plenty on twitter are pointing it out too.
Meyler is the exact opposite we need at the moment. The commentator has watched him for a half and has basically got him down. Too conservative. Backwards, sidewards, never looks up. Just because he runs around and gets stuck in doesnt mean he is decent. Id do that for city.City 0 Meyler 1
I ****ing hate those 'technically' offside goals. It ruins the game. Why should a goal not stand based on daft technicalities like whether someone is in the keeper's field of vision or whatever. Even more annoying when it's us in such a big game where we won't get loads of chances. Anyone else think Giroud could have been sent off for that scrape down Davies' achilles? Kevin Nolan got sent off and roundly condemned for the exact same thing a couple of years ago. Difference is his team were getting hammered so it looked more of a frustrated swipe but that shouldn't matter should it? Either way it's a malicious, nasty foul.
Well that's settled then it must have been offside. It's not like they're biased in favour of the big sides or anything like that
Journos don't tend to care about things like that too much unless they happen to big teams late on in the game
They ran after the ball ie became active. ARsenal players were disrupted due to their movement. AGain, active
