Martin O'Neil is such a **** manager. He doesn't take training sessions (when at clubs) and he's made worse signings than O'Leary ever did. I will name a few for you guys: Aston Villa: Nigel Reo-Coker (West Ham £8.5m) Luke Young (Middlesbrough, £5m) Nicky Shorey (Reading, £4m) Emile Heskey (Wigan £3.5m) Stewart Downing (Middlesbrough £10m) - He's really not that good. Sunderland: Steven Fletcher (Wolves 11m) Danny Graham (Swansea 4m) There is absolutely loads more like these.
Something I've never really thought about, Rev, but you've got a point. What's he actually achieved? Don't include Celtic. My long dead granny could have got them to win things. Think he's lived on an early reputation, tbh. I read his autobiography a few years ago. There's no denying he's a very clever & astute man, but ...
Don't think he's a **** or the worst manager by any description but I do think he bottled with us. Carefully managed career with clubs that had very little expectation. Needed only to win a league cup ( when the big boys treated it as a training exercise) and Celtic when you only need to beat rangers three times a season. But ducked the big one with Leeds fans who would demand more.
****'em, Mighty. I tried to be understanding to the twats a while back, and all I got was ****, so ****'EM. Let them wallow in their misery and bleat about their owner, coach and whomever else they try to blame for their piss rotten team. Boy, that felt good.
