Who was the manager given time to sort out our club? I can only think of Ian Holloway who took over from a Gerry Francis team he had inherited. Due to our financial restraints, we managed to ship out a lot of deadwood.
Then things change again. Holly was given time to build something back up. JFH has only been in the chair for 15 games - roughly 3 months - he has had to get money for a striker who wanted to got to Southampton and has brought in 3 players.
At the end of this season - mid table is all we deserve then at least he has a summer break to decided who stays and who go and who he wants to bring in. Maybe, we might even give him time to mould a team but we appear to have a lot of fans that expect us to be challenging. We still have Financial Fair Play hanging over our heads so maybe associated fines / points deductions are on the agenda and the what if scenarios.
OK - a p155 poor performance from a Rangers team away from home. Wont be the first and I doubt be the last.
The skin colour of our manager should not be a talking point, it should be his ability to deliver a team we can all be proud of - after all, if JFH does this, his stock as a manager goes up and looks attractive for a bigger club, if he doesn't he sinks. Hughes and Redknapp hardly set the world alight for us after all and wasted money on players that didn't want to be with us

Absolutely right- we have sh1t fans. I said as much in another thread. I feel a big disconnect with a majority of the fanbase currently, which is a real shame, and not something i've experienced before.

In my small section of Stadium MK on saturday, i witnessed 2 separate scuffles between our own fans kick off. We're a shambles.

Spoiled obnoxious fans, who feel entitled to success because of a brief spell in the PL during which we were getting our arses handed to us every week.

I'm not so sure that Sir Les is doing such a bad job under the circumstances. Tony Fernandes has stopped throwing money at the club and has turned more towards us being sustainable which in the long term may be better, only time will tell. Would I have liked him to get a top rated coach and give us a £200mil war chest to spend on players thus guaranteeing Premiership football? Of course I would but we need to be realistic. We are a small club in a tiny ground with competition for support all around us.

Big money has been thrown our way before and look where we are now. I don't see it as a race thing either, that is a red (or black?) herring thrown in to generate a reaction.

Agree with those who are critical of our fans

Is it too difficult to understand our reality at this moment in time and show some patience? Something our Chairman is finally starting to understand.

Booing our own players, substitution selection. It's toxic, and does us no good in the grand scheme of things.

Am I sold on JFH? Not at this moment in time, I personally dislike his post match comments of 'unacceptable performances' because they're becoming repetitive. However, I'm prepared to see what he can do with a Summer Transfer Window and an entire pre season with the squad. Then we can judge him appropriately.

    Bloody fans !

Can't select a team to save their lives, signed complete rubbish on stupid contracts and turn up week in week out to spend their hard earned. Bastards !!

It's a generational issue now fellas, its not just a few seasons in the prem, we were there for years back in the day and having finally made it back, it was all thrown away a little too easily in the end.

We were a top flight club for quite a while, most of the 1980's & early 90's basically were my youth so I don't see us as anything else. what ever stats and figures are provided.

Maybe I was a little spoiled, but it's ingrained into my DNA. I want the best for my club. I am a bastard.
