But you can't have it both ways. If you say he went down and won a penalty unfairly then that carries an implicit criticism of him.
You just refuse to make it explicit-the reasons for which I can only guess at.

He exaggerated the fall so yes, he cheated but I'm not criticising him for that. He's done what many others in the league do and by doing it he's won us the game. Fair play to Benteke.

I don't condone diving but until the FA (FIFA or UEFA) resolve the issues we should be taking advantage at every opportunity.

Besides, you can have a coming together that is neither a foul or a tackle too. Football is a contract sport!

I think there was contact but he cheats in making it look like it was enough to cause him to fall and thus making the rule applicable.
