Good to see Flanno keep his place as well as Origi after decent performance

just looking at thag bench, can see we now finally have some half decent options there.

Sturridge, Cout, Allen, Clyne... Strength on the bench!

Couts and Sturridge being rested for the Utd game. Some would argue we should play our strongest team today and rest some when we play lesser teams. As long as we win today I will be happy.

It will be interesting to see if Lallana can play as well today as he did against City. A lot of commentators have said he needs a run in the team to show his true potential.

I'd have Clyne over Braindeadeno and i'd start Allen rather than Henderson and I'd probs start Toure as well

In terms of goals, yes. But he gets on the ball, creates space, drags defenders out of position.

Origi was better at that than Sturridge against City

Lallana, Origi and Flanagan had solid games. They deserve their place. They can win this!

I think Clyne has been rested because Flanno can't play against Utd as he is not in our Europa squad. That will be a big miss on Thursday

As an aside Origi is apparently related to President Obama, by a fair distance, but still a relative.
