Now that is seems a straight fight between us the mags and Norwich for 2 of the bottom 3 places, thought I would have a look at the fixtures and what will be needed to stay up.

I really think Norwich have the hardest run in, I really can't see them getting more than another 6 points. Because of their current form I think Newcastle will get a maximum of 9 points...this is very much dependent on the wally with the brolly staying in charge.

That leaves us, and I think if we can muster 9 or 10 ten points we will be safe. so IMHO 35 or even 34 points will be enough...of the 3 three teams I would much rather our squad and manager to gain these points...but we really could have done with hanging on for that extra 50 seconds yesterday....

It's going to be difficult but because of the other two being just as bad
I feel we will be ok
Although they will be a few twist and turns ahead.

We need to beat both of them when we meet.

Next 4 games are the ones where we need to make a move.

    Mags (a)
    WBA (h)
    Leicester (h)
    Norwich (a)

I think we need 3 wins from those.

We've also still got Everton at home at some point who are either hot or cold as well.

    We can do this. KTF.

I'm in agreement we need to beat both of them and the most I can see either side mustering, Newcastle, is 11 points. 10 points gets us there on goal difference. What a s... season.

Or at least not loose, crickey I'm sounding like Big Sam <laugh> but as long as we match their results from now on in we would be safe narrowly admittedly.

I would have liked to play Everton next Tuesday, before they play in the cup, but in between WBA and Leicester at home would be good. It is ridiculous to play only 3 matches this month though. 32 points is what should keep us up now. We should have a fully fit squad as well for ' the big game ' in a fortnight. next week Norwich vs Man c 0 points there for them, Leicester vs mags 0 points either, and we need to win at Norwich and the mags and virtually be safe.
