Even the late, great sir bobby couldn't get this shower of ****e to play something that resembles a game of football. Doesn't matter who comes in they just don't care enough
There were rumours around the ground yesterday that talks have now opened for Moyes. Whilst my preferred choice is Rafa, I think Moyes would be a good fit for us on two fronts. 1- He may give us a fighting chance of staying up 2- If we did go down, which is likely he will give us a good chance of coming straight back up He will also give some of the kids a chance which will appeal to Mike in terms of balance sheets etc... http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/11562/transfer-talk/2016/03/06/21040652/-? David Moyes has been identified as the man to save Newcastle's season, according to a report in the Telegraph. The Magpies are expected to sack Steve McClaren after the club fell to a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Bournemouth which leaves the Tyneside club in 19th place in the Premier League. With 10 games remaining, Newcastle are taking steps to avoid relegation and it is said former Manchester United boss Moyes is interested in taking over at St James' Park. The only potential sticking point, however, is how much power club owner Mike Ashley would be willing to give the Scottish boss regarding player transfers.
No way. Moyes is also a loser. Admittedly not as much as mclaren but we would go down regardless. I still think he'll stick with mclaren anyway. Ashley will now see it as too much of a gamble to pay a fortune sacking mclaren and then bringing somebody else in who will likely still take us down. I think he will be resigned to our fate like most of us and will now be asking hid board to prepare his major on field assets for sale so as to lessen the financial impact of relegation, whilst also identifying which players to bring in to get us back up.
Pearson's the best choice for an interim, as we need a tough guy who takes no **** to yell at this ramble and get them out of their little cliques and get them thinking about the club rather than their wage packets. Rodgers and Rafa could also probably keep us up. Moyes though? After his success (albeit dull success) at Everton, he's building up a track record as a failure and the good work at Everton is seemingly like a distant memory. So he's really not that different from McClaren, who had success a while ago, but is a failure now. We need rid of McClaren immediately and anything is an improvement. Moyes ain't the best option though and the fact he seems to be out first choice ahead of Pearson shows how woeful out of touch Charnley is.
I don't rate Moyes at all but to claim he is becoming a failure due to his recent sackings is bemusing! He was sacked by Man Utd as soon as Sir Alex didn't have a say and LVG did worse in his first season thanks to al the duds SAF had bought. His next stint in Spain was always going to be tough going and with his style of play etc he needs a couple of seasons which he was never going to get. Why the ****ing obsession with Brendan Rodgers is beneath me! Roberto Martinez created Swansea, Rodgers took over and continued with it! Then got shown up for what he is at Liverpool despite spending absolutely shed loads of cash. Rafa? Who knows- like with all the top managers you never see them at clubs like ours up for the challange. Is Pep/Jose really world class managers or have they gone from one rich club to another?
Has nothing been learnt from our last relegation? Giving Shearer 8 games to save a shambolic season was nowhere near enough time considering how poorly the players were performing. Giving Moyes 10 games is no better and we have a weaker squad this time. We need to appoint a Manager for getting us promoted from the Sky-Bet Championship. I say get that ginger-bloke from Burnley - he looks decent.
Either need a quick fix (Redknapp, Jose) or look to the Championship (Dyche, Bruce?). We're not going to attract Rafa or Rudi Garcia type managers second bottom of the league.
This club should never appoint a Manager again, whose Surname begins with M. All bar One have been losers, and M also happens to be the 13th letter of the alphabet. M for Manager is just plain unlucky for us and should be avoided at all costs. So, no, to Moyes.
Why Not? Odd isn't it, that players and fans at Leicester have nothing but praise for the part Nigel Pearson has played in their rise from the Championship to the top of the PL. But, he's obviously not good enough for us...
Sorry, wrote that wrong (i've been having a tipple today)!! I meant there's no point talking about next manager when in all likelihood the fcker in the hotseat isn't actually going anywhere! I'd take Pearson well ahead of both Rodgers and Moyes. He's a no-nonsense man of ambition who MUST have something to do with Leicesters current standing.
Read something about how NUFC haven't uploaded Schteve's post-match comments to the website, allegedly something they do on matchday. True, I'm only scraping around for any tidbits that he's gone (couple of twitter posts claiming he's sacked).
