When have we closed it before? when you are wrong (which is most of the time) it is spectacular


Just as an aside, when you last predicted we would close a stand we ended up with a bigger attendance than Liverpool

 

Away tops are usually a low sell, most United supporters prefer to wear the home shirt

That might be because the capacity at OT is almost twice that of Anfield.

As more years without the league title and other silver trinkets pass by watch the attendances drop and the closed stands become a permanent thing.

Should have stuck to the 55k capacity.

 

United giving free white away shirts to United fans attending at Anfield makes me chuckle...

... They're making a giant surrender flag.

 

Or giving the away supporters some thanks?

 

Thanking them for surrendering?

Basically this is a scam to have fans' information sold to DHL for the price of a shirt that was going to be sent to landfill in a month anyway.

 

White would clearly show the **** stains though

 

I must say it shows a fundamental lack of understanding of football by some commercial bod.

A) whites a weak colour really.

B) fans can see right through this ****. Giving away aged stock.

C) are they all xxxxl shirts? Oops when a guy gets a medium and squeezes into it.

D) bit pointless on a cold Thursday night when most actually would have rathered a free manc wooly hat as a gift. The shirts will be covered.

E) I've run out of thoughts on this cos it's a not every interesting topic

 

B... dont think they'd care. Getting a free sorry is a good gesture from the club.

We've just kicked up a right stink about ticket prices because it was felt the club was ripping off Joe Public (and they were). Why not offer something back?
