A couple of interesting posts taken from CI just after the Cup Final 1. Singing section in the North Stand case proven at wembley in the 511/512 experiment 2. Clear zoning of the KC and a deliberate gathering of the more vocal clans will no doubt sort the KC problem. What wembley showed is that singing is infectious if done by enough people often enough with good songs. Those 'atmosphere' generators (you know who you are) should be emboldened by our success - let's take that into the KC. Move your arses into the North Stand - aka zoological end THE ZOO NEEDS YOU
Are you saying Steve Bruce was the main driver? I doubt many would be happy to see their name linked to driving it.
Wasn't it the club's claim, albeit privately, that it was something Steve Bruce wanted after seeing Aluko miss a penalty in front of a North stand packed with Sunderland fans? It makes sense, although I personally think all clubs should have to give one end to away fans to level the playing field rather than competing to see who can find the worst spot for away fans. I think we agree that in that spirit the West Upper would be the 'best' scenario.
I don't know which individual initially suggested the move in that format. There are a few posts on forums from some supporting it. As I've said previously, it's done, the real challenge is to learn from the many mistakes, and work with what's left to make best of it.
The timing was all wrong for that to have any legs, even if it was anything like a valid argument to claim one goal required all of that. It was also claimed that no other clubs had fans behind the goal.
Just seen this, made me laugh - It would be nice if a few of Hull's hostelries could offer the same warm welcome to City & Arse supporters on Tuesday.
Stupid kick off time was bound to affect the gate. Since this is becoming their only realistic chance of a trophy (They've blown their CL chance and they can't seem to catch Leicester in the PL) I expect the Arse to field a stronger team than they did in the game at the Emirates. If they're all fit I reckon Giroud, Walcott and Ozil will start.
I think they might play quite a strong team based on yesterdays team selection. Fingers crossed we can put them to the sword like we did Leicester, this could be the year that we beat the top two finishers in England in the same season for the first time ever
Dilemma... If we win and Wenger gets sacked, how will that affect our loans into buys and relationship?
Surely the kick off time will help those kids who we are told can't go because they have to be tucked up in bed?
But if its extra time and pens we're back in that same terrifying situation. Its a complete minefield this FA Cup malarkey. Disgusting from our current manager to do well in it. He's got to go after this. To be honest I'm thinking its either played behind closed doors and we all watch it on tv or we just give them the game.
After cocking up their title challenge surely Arsene will play full strength team. Surely he cant last beyond this season this was their best chance of winning prem.
