Do we need a big rebuild in the Summer? I see Gomis, Dyer, Edder, Tabanou, maybe Ayew going in the summer, but I would also like to see replacements in for Taylor and Rangel, most of our problems come from these two, a good clear out of some dead wood and bring in some quality, thoughts?

Not sure what the Manager front will bring, but throw that in, and we could see one of our busiest summers. This is assuming we are staying up of course...........<laugh>

You're right, but I'll wait until we're guaranteed Prem football before I comment <laugh>

    Id say that

    Gomis - gone, chance 100% > 5 million
    Dyer - gone, chance 75% >2 million
    Eder - gone, chance 75% < 3 million
    Tabanou - gone, chance 75% < 1 million
    Montero - gone, chance 60% ~ 5 million
    Ayew - gone, chance 60% > 17/20 million

    In's;

I think Kingsley will be Taylor's replacement.

I agree, but we are not very good at blooding the youngsters through, wouldn't surprise me if we didn't see him again this season......:headbang:

True, you never know he may be the next Davies for us.

He had cramp at the end of the Arsenal match so it was probably wise not to play him today. He's in my starting line up for next weeks match <cheers>

I also think Taylor isn't a bad defender but he's no wing back and unfortunately tabanou was a real flop. For this system we need fullbacks to be able to play like wingers at times

Apparently Fer was quite good today. Anyone agree?

Thoughts on selling Ki and replacing him with Fer and Joe? The way Ki's played this season I'd jump at the chance for this scenario.

He was excellent when he came on, I'd start him next week.

Played very well when he came on. I thought he looked like a more powerful and bigger version of JDG. Can put himself about too.

Routledge works hard in defence. With a little more work I think he'd be a good wing back.

Sounds good. It's weird how some players fit better with certain teams. QPR fans were lambasting him when he joined us, but horses for courses I suppose. Lets sign him up. I like the sound of a JDG on steroids.

Ayew : sell only if he wants to
    Tabanou: goners
    Eder: goners
Williams : I got a feeling Williams might test the waters...based off of nothing but a feeling
Fer: buy, can play many positions including striker ....Roof's # 1 priority.
    Ki: keep
Gomis : keep ....we have to pay him out anyways so ....but silly money ...SOLD
Montero : keep , as we close in on 40 points look for Montero to get lots of minutes
    Barrow: Same as Montero
Dyer: Talk to Dyer in good faith and see what he wants ....he more than fuking earned that much respect.
    "........................................................................NEW

utility wingback : play either side but strong left

CB: quality guy who might feel compfy on the right if asked too

holding midfielder :A Guido special , I'm sure he's got someone in mind already
If Ayew goes : another free new pick player for Guido
Budget : if we keep Ayew , 20,000,000
If we sell Ayew , 30,000,000

There's more of a chance of Villa staying up than us having that sort of budget.

Wanna bet , Guido will demand it and Huw will divvy up gladly .
20 million is not outrageous , we will make 10 million on Ayew if sold .

£10-£15 million tops will be our budget. While I agree that we need a net spend of a good £30 million in the summer to seriously add quality to the team and by that, i mean players that come into the starting line up, we will not net spend more than £10 million imo.
Plus, Guido is only on a 6 month deal. He'll be gone in the summer.

Don't forget , Fer's money has to come out of there ...that will take 6 or 7 itself imo .Only 13 more left to work with ....if we keep Ayew . We'll need it , this will be a Guido foundation imo and Huw better get his sh:t together and do part of his job ( get new money for the manager). and help the new manager land the players he wants ...within reason .
