Leicester's success is their own, but you can't discount that in part it's down to us being able to throw away chances that we should be nailing down. Overall though, even if they win the league this season, I don't see them going on to be dominating the league like Arsenal and Utd have done.

Treble I put this to you, imagine having to go through another 7 years of what you have gone through in the last 3? Would you like it? Consistently fighting for top 4.

I must point out that Leicester have only dropped 9 points out of the last 30, you would need them to be much worse than that to make up 8 points on them out of the next 27 <ok>

In that time too they played City, Pool, Chelski, Spurs etc, from the big teams they basically only have you left. I don't see them dropping points against Newcastle, C Palace, Sunderland etc.

Agreed, Leicester are looking odds on to win it. My take is that we fight until we can't win it. Wenger is realistic, he said that it's out of our hands, but we have to try and win all of our games. So, as unrealistic as it might seem for Arsenal to overhaul Leicester, we have to try.

As much as that might irk those Gooners who think that's deluded, it doesn't bother me and it doesn't sway me. I'm not giving up until it's no longer possible.

Ok, hypothetically, if we don't win the league, will you concede it might be time for Wenger to move on?

Only if we can get somebody in who can do a better job. I'm not opposed to it.

I need to cut and paste the following as I've said it a few times. We've had more than our fair share of success and I would be fine with foregoing any success provided I can see the players/youth/squad being developed propery and the style of football on the pitch being entertaining and played in the right way. For me the last 3 years have not been about the results, they've been about the turjid thick pea soup that's been served up and the way the c*nt in charge has stifled our players, sucked the confidence out of some true talent we have, and not allowed them to reach their full potential. THAT is what's most criminal at United at the moment.

For that reason, I don't see the comparison tbh.

It's good for Utd that their youth players are being given a chance to develop, that's something that you've always done well. Would you agree though that LVG has stumbled into having to play them via injuries rather than deciding to give theses players a chance ?

    Nah we'd never win anything.

    Just kidding <laugh>

Great question tbh. As a footballing purist, I applaud Wenger's approach to the game, I think in many respects he's better than Pep. BUT I think his biggest problem over the last 10 years, has been the defence. It's his achiles heel sadly, and that would frustrate me if he was our manager. He's also 64, there's no future there. Had he come in after Fergie, it could have been ideal at the time. We now find ourselves in a position where we can't afford to have another short term manager. That's the only 2 reasons I'd say no honestly.

    Yes and no.
Yes because without the injury's he may not have given so many youngsters a chance.
No because he has said right from the start that he prefers a small squad as it gives youngsters more chance of breaking into the team.

Regardless of what anyone thinks about van Gaal, it has to be said that he has done this at every club he has been at and there are quite a few players around today that should thank him for this.

Yeh absolutely for players like Rashford, Borthwick Jackson and maybe even Lingard. I reckon had Rooney, Shaw and Valencia still been fit, those kids wouldn't be playing. Having said that, he could have bought a RW bcos Valencia's been out for ages and he didn't.

I'd agree. LVG is a stubborn Batard' (a bit like Wenger) but (a bit like Wenger) at least he gives youth players a chance to shine.

I know Ramsey gets some stick for trying fancy flicks when he should be playing it direct. But when he does this .......
