so we're gonna swap our best defender for a guy who can't get into the Southampton team? don't think so matey
Can't see it. Gorkks is one of the few players we have capable of making the step up. He's our best defender for Fk Sake!
I agree Turbo.....why would we want a League One outcast?.....Did we not learn our lesson with Leon Clarke? I think the occasional gem can be unearthed (Mackie and Taarabt spring to mind), but if we are to survive in the prem we will need some tried and tested players. Our midfield will be fine, especially with some of the players who we have on the bench (Rowlands, Buzsaky, Ephraim etc) Gorkks is decent, not the best, but reckon he will be fine if he has an organiser around him i.e Gabbidon and Derry What happened to Kyle Walker? Is he back at Spurs? Is he too far out of our reach?
With Tarbs, PVM, Hogan, Smith, Mackie, Dyer...........even rowlands and cook.............i'm not sure we need a league one reject. ok if neil sees quality (In warnock we trust) .........fair enough bring him in..................but not at expense of gorksie The whole thing stinks of a board who are tryin to get out of payin a transfer fee.................. To be honest it stinks even more of some dikkhead journo talkin through his arsepipe.
If it's in the Mail it must be gospel... (not). Now if we were offering Hulse or Clarke for Puncheon, that would make more sense!
I agree, it doesn't make sense: we have numbers at centre back but, imo, Gorkss is the pick of the bunch. As Turbo says, we have a number of options with wide men, why bother with another one?
Gabbidon for Puncheon hmmmmmmmmm maybe, not Gorkks. Puncheon did ok last term with Blackpool, worth a punt i recon.
David Mcintyre tweeted that apparently we are open to offers for both Gorkks and Hall so would'nt be surprised to see them go.
I see one more has been could be coming our way! Sounds good.n think we should re-name our club Queens Hasbeens Rangers, Now that sound nice, Yes chaps??
I hope it don't happen...swapping Gorkks for Puncheon, but too be honest, letting a defender leave that should be able to hold his own in premier league...with the Goons in charge nothing would surprise me any more.
