Jury's out for me. Sounds like we have gone from title winners to play off fodder by recent posts? Personally think we are drowning but typically City don't usually do things easily so...? What say you 606?
Looking back, we typically bounce back from these kinds of defeats rather emphatically. We get a free shot at Arsenal and then it's MK Dons at home. Busy schedule, plenty of points to get at.
You both being negative . Get behind our team . Some games this season we have been lucky to get all 3 points , well tonight we were unlucky - their goal was a fluky deflection , blatant handball with ref. yards away and good view says no penalty , we hit the woodwork twice and poor finishing and fine desperate defending means we do not score . Forget about the league for a few days and play /beat Arsenal and then we don' t play MK Dons but Watford in the FA cup 6th round . Okay by then we could be 4 th but be positive and can win the games in hand that we will have .
The form table reads W2 D2 L2, putting us 12th, that's not promotion form, we really need to get our arse in gear. I'm not flapping, we're not playing badly, but we do need to get our arse in gear.
The form table the BBC and I use is the last ten games (i.e. since DQPR or the first game of 2016)- a far more representative sample. 20 points from 10 games, only 4 of which were at home !
Our last 4 games have been against teams that were in the top 8 when we played them so on paper tough . Okay a poor return of 5 points , but this league is tough . 12 games to go Boro and Derby are the hard ones , but of the other 10 all are I think now in the bottom half of the league , on paper we should winning theses 10 . I'm not flapping .
