You say none of the teams are consistent but we're the kinds of inconsistency No chance we're getting near top four, never mind actually getting it!
True... but if anyone can put a run together, they'd have to stand a chance. At the moment, no one looks like doing that (including us) but there's nothing stopping us doing it. We've shown we can beat good teams, win at Palace then beat Everton and it becomes 3 good wins in a row, players back from injury... Klopp factor... who knows! Even if we don't... I think this could be one hell of an end to the season for everyone chasing the title, for top 4 and for relegation!
From out remaining fixtures, I'll be happy if we win on 2 April. Not overly fussed about the rest. Obviously I want us to win them all but the season is over so mweh
Pellegrini... Team didn't recover from playing last week. They played strong team Wednesday.... we played strong team Thursday. They played strong team Sunday.... we played strong team Sunday. They played strong team tonight... we made few changes tonight... If you're team can't cope playing 3 games in a week, then maybe should have made changes... and don't moan about not having enough good players when your squad cost about £500m
Pellegrini said he wanted Sterling to start to learn to cope with the atmosphere #thatwentwell the ****ing #bottler
Tiredness is always used as an excuse for a poor performance- I never take any notice. Like I've said before, if you're fit and enjoying what you're doing, physical tiredness isn't an issue. Mental weariness is a different matter, and that's a part of the manager's job.
I jinxed Man City by putting money on them winning the league and couple of days so lol It was a double, the other part was is winning the EL. Got odds of 65-1 so stick a fiver on it.
Don't want to go on about this too much but.................all subs were made in the second half of the game, so 30 seconds each gives 3 mins. of injury time (6 subs used). Then there was Flanno's injury, call that a minute minimum. Why only 3 minutes injury time? Didn't matter tonight but how often do we see late goals in games. How can they get basic stuff like this wrong, it's amateurish.
I point this out too. It's just made up. If the game is "over" they play 3, if the game is still in the balance they play at least 4. Actual stoppages mean nothing.
Some really positive performances today. The ones who stood out for me were: Toure Can Firmino Lallana - was exceptional I thought Milner had his best game also.
