I've got a decent pension so I won't need to rely on the state hand-out, have you old feckers sorted yourselves out for your twilight years? I can see the day when the whole state pension scheme is abandoned and it will be everyone for themselves.
Unless you really can't work or you hate your job, I don't see an issue with working as long as you physically can. The amount of stories I've heard of people giving up work only to die a few months/years later tells me that working is good for your health. watp no surrender
Tend to agree. If I can carry on where I am now at a lower grade once I hit 60 then I'll be happy. Like it or not work provides a sense of routine and order - and if we didn't have that there'd be bloody anarchy.
My Ma is a care worker and there's women doing the job who are older than those she has to visit and give medication to and put to bed. If you're fit and want to work then you should be able to.
