There is always a reason/ excuse for why Pardew teams don't do well. It's always injuries, no say in transfers, the weather, pitch, the fans, the press, the officials, stadium, timing of games. It is never his fault. Some of our fans will defend him to the hilt despite the evidence of his career proving otherwise. He starts well, has a good 12/ 18 months and then the rut sets in. Palace is a repetition of his MO. He will be sacked if Palace continue to lose. But, when he is, it won't be his fault right?
That may well be true, but why the incessant and unhealthy obsession with him that keeps on coming up again and again. He has no relevance whatsoever with us, yet publications such as The Mag keep on dredging him up.
I'd rather discuss more interesting topics, such as the relative merits of Bill McGarry and Jack Charlton as Managers.
Crystal Palace have gone 11 games without a win (D4 L7) – their longest winless run in the @premierleague since 1998 (15 games) #BPL #SUNCRY
If Swansea win tomorrow and we get beaten, were six points away from safety. Not good at all. Do something Mike, you useless sod.
I've never known an obsession like this I bet Pardew feels like he's got one of his ex-lovers (who doesn't have feelings for him anymore, of course ), watching every move he makes, commenting on everything he does, win or lose, the mags are there, talking about him! He's gone and he's not coming back, he's moved onto somebody better, leave him be, get on with your lives and let him get on with his You obsessive stalking freaks
