http://forums.liverpoolfc.com/threa...tion-can-t-be-allowed-to-continue-next-season another thread from the main boards that pinpoints our problems, Fowi is 1 of the better posters on the boards...never afraid to voice his true feelings
Is RAWK the only LFC website in existence Trebs? Of course it's not. there's plenty of Yoonited forums other than Red Cafe, are you agreeing with the general consensus on those? There are many ludicrous claims, accusations and hate filled posts on those mate. Bottom line is, don't cross the line which most of us don't on here and that's what makes this site great.
I'm not the one saying I'm going on Redcafe. I only mentioned RAWK bcos Lucaas was talking about going on there. I really don't think anyone has crossed the line on here though. Compare it to the Arsenal board, even on it's best days, and this is tepid
True, but its not his opinions so much, its the way he voices them and the fact that he's probably not a Liverpool fan. It makes the place **** if I keep responding to him which is why I'm going to take a break. I can't help myself but respond when I see someone talking **** and abusing our players & manager so I'll just sneak off quietly for a month or two.
doesn't matter where 'you sneak off too' you'll always get fans slating the team, and rightly so. in what planet is hendo captain material, and what planet is benteke worthy of a red shirt? this team has played awful for the most part of the season, unacceptable for liverpool...can understand if you're villa or sunderland. i actually like klopp but stats speak for itself, he's not made us a better team since he took over 5 months ago
The worst thing about the final was the empty seats on the halfway line at the start of the second half. 80% of the corporate ****s were still supping chardonnay when the game kicked off.
Needs qualification I think. For the players we have we've put in a good performance against a strong team. However, for the club we are, many of the players are clearly not good enough for where we want to be. Some like Can, coutinho, Firmino have a future but do we really in the medium term want players like Milner, Lucas, Skrtl, Mignolet as the key players of the team? Yes they can do a job at the moment but they are workman like whilst we want top quality to be in there fighting for top 4. A few years ago, they wouldn't even have come close to the first team. It is all about the quality of the players. The manager can do so much. That's why when Klopp was appointed, I warned against the unreasonable euphoria and expectations of some unless there were wholesale changes to the squad and significant expenditure. This would not be easy as many of our players have been bought at excessive prices and on over-large contracts. This means taking big hits on these players and further massive investment from FSG. The depressing thing is that City had a few match winners in their team compared to us having 'potential' such players. Their attack had more penetration, more bite. We need to learn from the City example and look at getting to their level (we shouldn't be too proud!).
Their attack was also against Toure, Lucas, Moreno and Mignolet. Their defence was brilliant for most parts of the match.
I don't know about the Emirates but it has become a very frequent occurrence at Wembley. It's very wrong.
Don't worry lads - Klopp got us to a final and the last 16 in Europe for the first time since Rafa - wait until he spends a bit of money and sorts the squad out.
He's not the same player but still a class above everyone else. Brilliant player, brilliant leader and great guy.
