US races - Good news in that Trump wins again but sad news is Clinton beat Sanders.
Bush has packed it in as well, Daddy too old to pull the strings now it seems.

Trump wins big in Nevada for his 3rd victory on the bounce. Takes him into Super Tuesday next week in good heart.

After a landslide win in South Carolina (with the African-American support bolstering her numbers), the Democrat nomination is surely Hillary Clinton’s to lose. Given that she managed to blow a 20 point lead on Barack Obama in 2007, she is no racing certainty but it was notable that in her victory speech she took the opportunity to have a dig at Donald Trump, who she clearly sees as the most likely victor in the Republican race.

If Marco Rubio does not manage to slow the Trump juggernaut in Texas or Florida on Super Tuesday, it surely means there will be a three-horse race for the White House; as Michael Bloomberg has already asserted that he will stand as an independent if Trump gets his name on the ballot paper.

or Bloomberg they will have 3 choices.
Be very interesting if Trump wins and he releases the hidden 28 pages of the 9/11 report naming who was really behind the attacks.

No, it is well known and in the public domain that 28 pages have been hidden and some Congress members who have read them are advocating there release. It has names and countries in those pages that have links to the 9/11 attacks. J Bush was asked repeatedly if he would release them whilst campaining, Trump says he will release them if elected. Family members of some of those killed have repeatedly asked for them too.

Trump is a dangerous nutter - who could not be trusted with a supermarket trolley let alone the buttons of mass destruction

Is it possible that the most powerful country on earth really is the most stupid? I mean, I know we all love to pretend that we're somehow superior to the yanks, but that's just old world snobbery isn't it? They aren't really a nation of gun totin' hillbilly dumbasses are they?

If he's elected, I think he'll be pretty much restrained. With the Senate and Congress in different hands, the place tends to grind to a standstill. And the Republicans heavies who still want Trump beaten by Rubio, will probably still have the numbers and power to blunt him as a President.

Roosevelt wasn't a dummy. Nor was Kennedy (but they shot him). Obama's no dummy despite finding his hands tied on several issues - most notably Guantanamo and gun control.

It's still a democracy though. Hard to believe they'll ever actually elect Trump. Time to give up on the human race if they do.

That was a great show Oddy. You know I still find it hard the believe that Reagan is considered a great president. I know he was there when the wall came down, but does he deserve the credit for tearing down communism?

Ron deserves credit for the wall coming down in the same way that my garden gnome deserves credit for my gardenias.
