It seems that Aquilani may well be on his way out for another year, as a season long loan move to Fiorentina looks imminent. What do you guys think of this? I personally would have loved to see him turn out for us this season, but if his heart isn't quite in it then maybe it is for the best. Still not keen on the idea that it is a loan deal though. But if that means his wages are to be cut from the club's wage bill does that mean Kenny is free to bring in another player? Your thoughts?
All this loan crap is pointless, will be another year less on his contract after the season is up and he will be worth less again. Just sell him or keep him

I'd like to see him be given another go cos a midfield trio/duo of any of Gerrard, Lucas, Aquilani, Meireles, Adam makes my mouth water! It looks like he's off though which is a shame. At least it will give Shelvey more chance to develop.

Hes a snake and should be got rid of,He has no desire to play for us and him and his agent have manufactered another loan deal away from Liverpool to his homeland. It seems its his greed for money thats more important than his desire to leave LFC at this moment,because its only his personal terms thats holding the deal up. I think your all jumping the gun. Reports have suggested he is close to leaving but Aquilani's agent has denied these claims, which should you believe? At the moment he is a still a Liverpool player and we should respect him as he hasn't said anything himself.
totally agree - i also think that aquilanis transfer fee was highly dependant on appearances and level of success at liverpool - the way he is going we may actually get him for nothing except for the initial 5million
If the point you're trying to make is that Aquilani doesn't have a number, it's because he was on loan last season.
Last season was last season,if he was deffo staying he would have had a shirt number registered with the premier league by now. Lets get it right,i wanted him to stay and commit to us,yet he has never made a statement to that effect,he does his talking through his agent.
He would have, but Meireles has his number now (#4). I'm sure if his future at Anfield is confirmed he'd get one soon. It's because he doesn't know English AFAIK.

There was news on our Official site not that long ago stating he was staying put. I hope he does. I think he could realy improve our squad. However if he doesn't want to be here then he can go.
My sentiments exactly mate,It would'nt be to difficult for him to make a statement(whether through a translator or)personally that hes fully commited to Liverpool FC,then we can all move forward.
Indeed The speculation is getting boring to be honest. I would just tell him straight - sign this or you're gone. Or maybe we have a we are waiting for the right money from Fiorentina. It needs sorting though.
