Well, there's a well informed sports journo. Obviously hasn't noticed that we can play tika-taka, long ball, medium ball, counter attacking, overlap, second ball, second phase, over-the-top, channels, between-the-lines, lost causes, set plays, whatever. And that's all with the ball. Without the ball we can selectively press the living daylights out of Fabregas so that his form takes a dive and shut up shop even with 9 outfield players on our side.
Fabregas? Still not half the player he was. Dangerous if he's given space, of course, but the best creative players can make space out of nowhere and I'm not sure he's capable of doing that. Plus he'll be playing a diffefent Southampton to the one described in the article.
