3 defeats in 3 speak for themselves. A club not really going anywhere at present, unfortunately with our best player injured ( fraser ) and a key component Skuse not back yet, this game doesn't fill me with any confidence. However, I will be there along with the Mrs and if anyone would like to meet to put the worlds to right message me please. 1-1 draw, season ebbing away I will predict. Thoughts?
I hope so - if we win it's by no means a dead duck yet, so we'll have to see. Skuse I assume will be out, Hyam perhaps too.
Oh yes because that's going to happen. It's " our fault " if we lose. Realistically though, we need Hull to win tonight to keep our season alive. Should that happen, and we get the 3 tomorrow, then that'd give us a different perspective. I do find fans perspective hilarious at times. I'm far from happy at how things are going, but I'll still get behind the side as always. Hardly any comments for this game, come on lads, surely some more opinions!? Will Niles be back in? Will Pringle be fitter still and perform even better?
I think this is a banker draw, it tends to go that way when a team loses many on the bounce - they usually get a draw to stop the rot, before the wins start coming. I'd be content with a draw, but only if we close the gap on 6th. I think Murphy needs to be dropped, and play Sears and Pitman up front. I've been happier than I thought I would with Pringle, he doesn't look a bad player, although I don't know if he's more suited to a wide berth or in the middle. But, if we're playing Sears and Pitman up top, then Pringle has to play wide, hopefully AMN is back, and then probably Hyam and Douglas in the middle. I'm pretty sure MM will keep tell them to keep it tight, and hopefully grab a goal in the second half. Fortunately, most of the teams above us are either playing each other, or have tough away games, so this would be a peach of a result if we were to win. Unfortunately, I think it will be a bit stale, with a predictable 1-1 draw, with Pringle scoring from a free kick
This is going to mirror the typical performance when we come up against a technically superior side away from home. Huddersfield's boss, David Wagner, is from the Klopp school of football coaching, and has benefited from some shrewd spending and a staff overhaul. Expect them to play some decent football and give our lads the run around. I would take any sort of win to reverse the slump and keep us in the play-off pecking order. My heart is opting for a narrow 1-0 victory, but my head can see us going down 2-1 in another fairly limp defeat. While we should avoid complacency, no easy games at this level, we need to win this game really.
I've woken up with a good feeling for todays game, not sure why. Wendy drew last night so that's helpful, as is their best player Forrestieri being suspended for 2...... IF we can win today and a couple of other results can go, it may not look at bad as it did appear - obviously we have to win first. I'll give a detailed report tonight. COYB !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once again other games going our way. If we tough, bore our way to a stodgy win, I will be happier! Good for morale but long way to go.
Looking tighter, MM style defense will take us over the line to keep our season alive, if not the most beautiful!
I would love Murph or Freddie to grab one....give us a shot in the arm to go on a decent run, and maybe be on the fringe again. And then get our star players back and push on...hmmm.
Well played Bart!...typical backs to wall. Stops the bleedin rot! Florist next up...and Bristols have Cardiff at home. Bit more hopeful now.
Well done Bart, sounds like we would have been thrashed without his heroics.Welcome result, but again didn't sound pretty!
