Miss Flounders told the court she tweeted the teenager and said: “Very proud, great pic hunni,” after she posted a picture of herself with Johnson.

Miss Flounders chatted with the girl on Twitter about a planned weekend away in Edinburgh. “I had about 900 Twitter followers,” she told jurors.

Johnson’s girlfriend also wished the teenager a happy 15th birthday. She wrote: “How fab is that, Happy Birthday for Wednesday!”

She also told her Johnson’s Instagram was private and not for fans.

The court has heard when Johnson was first arrested, his girlfriend asked “who is she? How old is she?”

Mr Pownall asked her why she said this.

Stacey said: “When he said her name I recognised her from when she was contacting me on Twitter so It just popped into my head to ask.”

After his arrest, Johnson came clean on his affairs with his girlfriend she told the court today.

“I wanted to know what was going on, what had happened, Adam was in shock,” she said.

Ms Flounders said that Johnson told her about other women after his arrest.

“I asked him to just tell me everything with me being paranoid. I wanted to know everything and he told me, he was very honest,” she said.

Mr Pownall continued: “At that time you remained with him, why?”

She said: “He was honest with me, I knew he was willing to do that. We just had a daughter I wanted to be a family.”

Asked about messages exchanged with Johnson on the day of the incident with the girl, Miss Flounders admitted she suspected him of being unfaithful at the time.

Mr Pownall asked: “Did you suspect that he was cheating on you?”

She replied: “I did, yes.”

When the barrister asked if she had any “hard and fast evidence”, she said: “No”.

And asked about when Johnson was arrested at their home at 8am, she said: “My head was all over the place. I didn’t know what was going on.”

She said that after his arrest, her partner said the girl’s name and added: “I gave her a couple of shirts.”

Mr Pownall finished his questions by asking Miss Flounders if she saw any future in “the relationship that you had”.

She replied: “Do you mean now? Not at the minute, I don’t. No.”

 

OP is re-examining Stacey now. But she also told KB that she felt uncomfortable driving the Range Rover car knowing that Johnson and the girl had kissed inside it. It is also alleged that the other offences took place in it.

Kate Blackwell QC is now questioning the former girlfriend of Adam Johnson.

“You said he told you everything, what did he tell you?” she asked.

Miss Flounders said: “That he kissed her and that he met her twice.”

Miss Blackwell asked: “Did he tell you that he kissed her passionately for two minutes?”

Miss Flounders replied: “No.”

“Did he tell you that he’d caressed her body with his hands?” Miss Blackwell asked.

“No,” Miss Flounders replied.

The court has heard that, after Johnson was arrested, Miss Flounders told police: “Why do they do this, they’re full of s***.”

She told police she had suspicions that Johnson was unfaithful during her pregnancy.

Stacey wept in the witness stand as she talked about Adam Johnson’s infidelity with “quite a few women”.

Ms Blackwell asked if Miss Flounders was worried about Johnson messaging other women, and asked him to shut down his Facebook account.

 

She's crying in the witness box now as she discusses his 'cheating.' He's a class A ****.

 

Miss Flounders is crying in the witness box as she tells the court about her ex boyfriend’s infidelity.

She told the court through tears that, after his arrest, Johnson told her about “the other women that he cheated on me with”.

Mr Pownall asked: “Did he give you names?”

“Just one, he wouldn’t tell me any other names,” she said.

“How many women?” Mr Pownall asked.

“Quite a few,” replied Miss Flounders.

“I asked him if he liked the girl he has kissed. At first he said no but I said he must have and then he admitted he did,” Miss Flounders added.

 

It's all building up to the one question that is literally going to decide the outcome of this case.... DID HE HAVE PUBES OR NOT, Miss Flounders?

She's already said that he's trimmed it with scissors but never fully shaved or used razor down there.

 

Under cross-examination Miss Flounders was asked when Johnson told her he was going to plead guilty.

She struggled to remember and said it was September 2015, some six months after his arrest on March 2.

“It must have been quite a revelation that he was going to plead guilty.” Ms Blackwell said.

Miss Flounders told the court she didn’t ask him how he would plead in March.

“I told him he was stupid, I asked him why he did it. He was in shock, he realised what he had done and he said he was stupid,” she said.

Miss Flounders’ mother gave an interview to the Daily Mirror when Johnson was arrested, and said he was innocent.

Miss Flounders told the court: “I didn’t agree, I know he had done something wrong.”

She said: “He never denied it.”

Judge Jonathan Rose asked: “When did he tell you she was 15?”

Miss Flounders said: “A few days later.”

 

It's looking like the opposite to me...

 

The young girl said that area was shaved. You would know the difference between trimmed and shaved...

 

It's possible she is neither burying him or saving him, but just telling the truth of what she actually believes. She is a victim in this too.

Got to say though, I'm quite chuffed that you think spelling her name wrong is the biggest flaw in my plan

 

so given that the Judge will be summing up all the evidence this afternoon ? (after this afternoons session being the last defence witness) what is the general consensus?

will Johnson do time or will he escape with just a slapped wrist ?

 

The longer this goes on, the more I think he will get a stern telling off! He needs to be sent down and have the key chucked away though.
