Robertson doing the presser with Brucey this morning. please log in to view this image We still have a fully fit squad. We're hoping to finally sort out the Arsenal fixture today. "Despite city putting in a good run we have not pulled away from the pack" "It was another match down on Tuesday and gets us ever closer to the ultimate goal" Robertson is really enjoying this season and is looking forward to Fridays game and then sitting back and watching the rest of the pack on Saturday. "It's a big contrast this season being at the top as opposed to been in a relegation battle"
difficult to change a winning team but maybe a couple just to freshen things up? Elmo for Snodgrass and Hudd/Hayden for Meyler maybe? not based on there performance in anyway, just seem a couple of straight forward ones to inject some fresh energy into things without disrupting things too much, be surprised if he named unchanged after all the whingeing about games.
he probably wont, I was just thinking he kept resting Diame earlier in season when 2 games where close by, saying he had to tread carefully after such a long injury
Amazing how much Robertson contradicts Bruce to show that Bruce might not be that clued in when it comes to what his squad is happy with.
I'd probably start with snodgrass and take him off around the 60min mark. Push Diame out to the right, he's always looked alright there, with Akpom/Powell going up top with Hernandez. Wouldn't bother with elmo he hasn't looked interested for weeks
The only possible changes I foresee would be Davies rested for Maguire, as Davies played at Arsenal as well as Ipswich and like wise Meyler maybe Hayden or Huddlestone in for him.
More meant the bit about thinking the Cup competition is great since the squad get to play - since he hasn't featured in the Cup games I'm assuming he's not talking about himself.
Yeah hopefully the medics look after SB as much as they do the players? I wouldn't be surprised if he had high blood pressure! He sometimes looks like he's gonna burst with his big round face but whatever anyone thinks about SB as a manager he comes over as very likeable man & I for one would like to wish him good health.
