about ticket prices to be held yet again. I intend to renew my season card because the product the team now offers is well worth buying into. We have a number of players who have the skills [ and are being allowed to use them ] to produce really good entertainment. Mark Hughes does not always get it right, but when we ' click ' , wow! Injuries to so many defenders must inhibit how the team as a whole can be set up. That painful run of 3-0 defeats is hopefully behind us. Just a comment about the Everton game, the goals came from our mistakes, not because of Everton's superiority, without our 2 silly mistakes and woeful defending for the second goal, a fitting result would have been 0-0. It has to be said that on this occasion we did not carry any threat of scoring. Ah well, a brighter future beckons,

Yup - in this day and age, freezing the ticket prices for 5 years AND providing free coache transport from the Brit to all away games deserves all credit and praise possible.

Well done indeed to Mr C and family <applause>

It is great news but I might not be able to renew. My boy has broken my heart and announced that he doesn't want to come to any more games . I can't leave hubby with both kids and also wouldn't want to go on my own. My dad won't buy a season ticket. Life is cruel.

It is marginally worse than your son declaring he is

Or any of the above plus supporting the Vale.

Might try and work on my dad a bit more. Does anyone have a season pass to the car-park immediately around the ground? I wondered how much it costs. I might be able to persuade him if we can park close by. His legs are not what they once were<party>

I used to have one when we had the box through work. The problem is that you have to be at least an hour early to get into the ground and I often couldn't get out for an hour after the game.
 
But Zoz, you are not on your own when you are in the hallowed stadium, you are with 25,000 true believers, comrades-in-arms and friends.
 
Absolutely, in my local at the moment getting outside of a pint of Bombardier <cheers>

Getting out taking some time I get but why would you have to get there so early if your space is reserved?

My dad doesn't drink but I think I might be on the verge of pursuading him. The downside; he plans to share his ticket with my step mum. Now dunner get me wrong, she's lovely but I cannot watch football with her "ooh, look at that, they're going to score (the opposition). If we do conceed "i can't see us winning now" unbearable.
She would also ask me about the kids or how work was etc; basically she doesn't know the 'rules' about football.

You are right that you're never really alone at the ground. The people of Stoke are immensely friendly and always ready to speak about what's going on.
 
...because it's controlled parking it just takes ages to negotiate and access, and the closer you get to kick off the harder it is to get to the access points. Depending on where the nominated reserve space is, will depend on how easy it is to get to.
