Defo a tough one for us, at present would be happy with a point. Manager has got them going well, let,s hope we can bring something home, we should have been out of sight at the SOL but managed to let them back in
I think there was a quote on Sky the other week about the Hammers only winning 4 out of their last 12 league games. Hardly a team in form. And beating a Championship team in the cup is no reflection of their league form. There's no reason why can't come back with at least a point on Saturday. But we have to go for the win here.
I would take a point but really we need 3. If we play like we did against Man U there is no reason why we can't win.
Stop Payet and you stop them. He's class - destined for bigger and better things IMO - Would love him at our club (I know it won;t happen but he's awesome!) ****ing hate West Ham - always have! Stems from my dad among one trip - was comfortably, until Lens got himself sent off, our best performance under Advocaat earlier this season. Depending on fitness levels, play the same side that beat Man Utd. If Kirchhoff isn't fit then replace him with Rodwell (He did OK against United. Good at tracking players - not great on the ball but seems to be OK off it (just from watching him play recently - was very good off the ball against United) We'll see what happens I suppose. One thing we need to do is not allow diver Moses near the box! He got a blackburn player sent off yesterday, he got Wigan a penalty against us for falling over in the box! Get Kone to give him a "toure" early in the game
Totaly agree with that bit. As for W Ham. Probably my 2nd team if i had to choose one.I know a lot dont like them, Think Billy is the same.Never had a problem with any of them. Still to this day keep in touch with old hammers mates.
I have personal reasons - I was there as a kid and remember a bunch of them walking into a cafe where I was eating dinner with my parents and they walked in and started on everyone in there. Kids, adults, male, female it didn;t matter. That's where my hatred started and stayed with me! Some things you don;t forget - although I was lucky as one of the kids ended up having his arm broken by them!
the ones i know dont have a bad word to say about safc. we used to travel up from surrey, and they loved it. they still talk about the game after bobby moore died, and the silence..oh and how cold it was. guess it all depends on what happens at different times.
All runs come to an end and I fancy us not to concede this weekend. Sure Sam will have them up for this one. 0-2 happy days.
I fancy us to get something at West Ham. I'd be more than happy with a point, we aren't going to win every game and three points isn't a must here, but 1 would be great to keep our points ticking over.
Agreed. Home win brought us breathing space caught us up to the pack. Back to normal service where an away point is an excellent result.
This game could come down to Payet vs Mvilla. 2 class players better than the clubs they play for. It's going to be interesting.
True shot ourselves in the foot big time so hopefully finish the job properly this time - ' 3pts on our BSA revival - - got to keep positive -lol
