this is different, we can't avoid domestic cup competitions....now we're in the EL we might aswell try and win it but i don't want us qualifiyng for it next season

We've put 6 past them this season and barring a bent referee would have taken 6 points as well.

Home tie is most important I think. You can't expect any easy games at this point of the comp so home advantage is a real benefit

 

I've not been on during game but two questions;

1. Should city be fined for playing weakened team? I think they should.

2. Should chelsea be fined or made play behind closed doors for fans throwing coins.

 

Given our home form compared to our away record it might not be the blessing it appears.

Yeah at Old Trafford. Luis Garcia lobbed their keeper for one goal, that's all I remember of it. Also I think we beat them in the charity shield season after actually when Sissoko was MOTM and dominated the game.

Also the league cup tie in 2011 just after Gary Speed died and Bellamy was tormenting the Chelsea defence.
