Where does this forum stand on wumming? Recent contributions from Ricardo Lux reminded me of the old bbc606. I must admit I do find that wum articles can sometimes be funny and a welcome distraction from boring slow-news days. Some may say that it got out of hand on the old 606 but it did add spice to big matches, knowing that if your team lost you would face merciless wumming from opposition fans! Thoughts?
We're definitely up for the banter But nobody wants to read the nasty personal stuff or the endless tit for tat slanging matches. That just ruins the threads. BBC606 was over the top in terms of it's moderation. We want to respect the freedom that not606 offers, hopefully people will self regulate, but the mods have a responsibility to make sure it doesn't get out of hand. But basically, our approach is to let as much flow as possible.
I am not a WUM, I am merely trying to express my views. I do try and not talk about pace enough though it is a vital part of football. That only took 10 seconds to type. Now that's pace
Must admit I do miss the days where I would set up camp on the Arsenal board and provide the fans with intellectual, thought provoking articles in order to create healthy discussion.
