Nah I'll feel free to come back now and explain to you that you've still spent 100's of millions on players. When a new manager comes in that doesn't suddenly change, those players still cost the club the same. Also, you might want to consider that sometimes it's not the players but the manager at fault. In other words, as in the case of Van Gaal, United may have spent a couple of hundred of million, but if the manager is 5hit that's little reflection on them or the club purchasing them.
not sticking up for him, just comparing klopps record with others around... it's awful. you look at tuchel who took over at dortmund, spend 0£, spent same amount of time in charge, has won over 70% of games sarri at napoli took over napoli in summer, spend 0£, spent same amount of time in charge, has won over 70% of games
Yes but you only know how **** he is AFTER he's spunked your money. And there's not much point telling us we've spent lots of cash on ****e. None of us deny it
So after looking at those stats there you still think it's fair to compare both managers after Klopp has had significantly less time and hasn't even had a summer transfer window yet to buy his own players. Give him time ffs
Tenuous...one manager buys players he thinks are class...they aren't gets sacked as a result but the players will magically be good just cause a new guy turns up? The real comparison for money spent was shown the door? You'll see when LVG gets sacked.
Except I'm not saying it's simply a case of spending lots on 5hite. There may be an element of that, but at the end of the day, Van Gaal and Klopp should both be doing better with the players they have.
I agree but spend doesn't come into it as it's the club's money. Or if it does, compare the club's spend against your opponents. Then judge the manager.
So you're still missing my point, he still needs time regardless. That's what gets me with some people, complaining about how bad we're doing yet he's been here for 5 months ffs. Look at Fergie for example, you gave him time and it turned out for the best. Obviously I'm not saying Klopp will turn out as successful as Fergie but he still needs time. If Binomial really wants instant success then maybe he should go support City or something.
I honestly don't think Klopp should you know and I'm not so sure about your lot either...both mediocre squads bar a couple of highlights.
I think ive seen enough over the course of the season to want mario back here, he wasnt the problem,,, the problem is this talentless squad we keep persisting withr for whatever reason.
We were discussing LvG and Klopp, no one mentioned Roy. I bought up the net spend between both the managers as it was actually relevant, mentioning Roy was totally irrelevant as no one brought him up, expect Binomial.
Agreed Like I said, I didn't really care much for the comparison by Binomial. It's ridiculous. I just didn't agree with the "spend" argument. Klopp I have no doubt is a good manager but as I keep saying, I think he's finding English football a bit of a new challenge. Given time, he'll likely rise to it.
