I'll hopefully be around tomorrow but will probably be in and out all day as I'm on annual leave again.

The mrs (nm) is at the doctors in morning and with it being half term it means I'll have the three kids. Got estate agent coming around in the afternoon and football in the evening

We might be able to find the escape point (if there is an ACTUAL escape place) ... but not access it till all the bad guys are dead ...

Not finding it ...means the ghosts can keep on freezing us (who we cant kill)

I'm not 100% against it, I was pulling Tennis up on it because he seemed 100% that we WERE looking for that glorious exit. IMO, the rules in the OP suggests otherwise but its not beyond possibility.

 

This is what I figured, that we could find an escape place but couldn't use it until we have killed the bad guys. Hadn't considered if we kill the bad guys but haven't found the escape though lol

 

I changed to ACS a few posts later.

Read my conditions, i need to be the first person to vote for someone who when lynched is mafia. Once I'm the first person on them i have to stay there, because if i change votes then i move off first place.

I voted tobes, then realised i was more suspicious of acs, so changed to him and stayed there...

 

Surely the second condition is completely unnecessary then because the first condition is being the first person to vote, common sense dictates that if you changed your vote and then re-voted for that same person that you wouldn't be the first vote anymore.

• The "Mafia" win when they are majority team left in game and no escape is possible or it is inevitable this will occur
• The "Town" wins when all bad guys are wiped out and if they escape or it is inevitable both will occur.
• Other roles may win the game also. Their win conditions are hidden.

Seems a stretch to me.

Even if you are telling the truth, the very worst that happens tonight is hat we kill someone with a confirmed link to the Acolytes. At best we kill their leader if you are not telling the truth.

 

I suspect we may well have blown it by being back at the house on Day 5. Our only hope is that the escape condition is reaching the sea once all the bad guys are dead. That would mean that travelling away from the see is always bad and travelling towards the sea is always good. It could also explain why it would be bad to be lost in a jingle/hills/mountains.

 

this worries me...as its a retrogade 4 day backward step

ie if we had chosen sea on day 2...there is likely more stages after that

IF ..its a real type map and not how Tennis said ...a rolling/ forking/consequences type map

That latter seems to fit with your investigation path ...so maybe its all good

 

To add to this, it could be that some of the difficult terrain involves moving slower - like on video games. So if we were in the jungle/hills/mountains we might find that we wouldn't be able to turn back for two days.

We are running out of time and bodies

 

In the garden we had the choice of sea, lake or hills. We learned that the hills were a bad choice. The lake (looks like) it is only 1 step away from the see so that wasn't a bad choice. Yesterday the waterfall took us two steps from the sea and that was a bad choice. We still have the option of travelling further from the sea but the wording discourages us from doing that. It could be that going back to the house (hopefully the garden) puts us back within one step of the sea.

I have no link whatsoever to the acolytes, we are not on a team. I had no idea who they were, and i bet they had no clue who i was. Everyone i voted for was with the aim of lynching bad guys.
I've speculated what nev's message meant but i dont really know how they link to me.

until nev's message i was a solo person (i.e. flying blind) with no knowledge or link to any other person in the game, with the sole aim of killing the bad guys and escaping the island.

Make sure you read this post (#1999) again later tonight after the lynch and see if i lied about a single fact.
