I had you down as town before you even revealed that you were M.E., now I don't know what to think Neville.

How much of that info is legit and how much is your opinion? I have no link to acolytes at all, I'm an ordinary townsperson so if that's true about no17 I have no idea what their link is to me.

 

Everybody now has a choice. I am saying that my investigation result has successfully shown that Tennis is associated with the Acolytes, possibly as head of the group.

If people believe I am town then voting to send Tennis to escape will show him up as being in this role.If it doesn't then I have just signed my own death warrant.

Before the investigation I was actually leaning to believing Tennis as the most likely of my town reads to be genuinely town, because of the way he was the only one who was really engaging with the clues I posted earlier.

I wasn't sure about returning to the lake having bad consequences. However, with this new info I am now wondering if Tennis wanted us to return to the place where the acolytes had successfully killed two townies!

 

Everything in my report is factual. The only opinion I had to form is what your link to the acolytes was - not whether you were linked or not.

 

DPP (no.7) was also an Acolyte so I can only assume ACS replaced him hence the repeated scrubbing of no7.

 

To answer your previous question I have absolutely no clue how we are going to escape, I'm just guessing what we should do and have no extra info.

As far as my supposed link to the Acolytes, I really have no idea. My role is not religious at all, I was told that I could unlock abilities to help us survive and escape but I haven't met the requirements yet, I was not told anything about acolytes though.

Will post a quick summary of my role, I just need to check with Mito how much I can reveal. I did not want to reveal but if I'm suspect no.1 I may as well tell you what i know and you can decide.

 

He's also refusing to answer me when I ask him why he insists there is an escape route via the directions.

 

This is looking like we basically have a decision to believe Nev is telling the truth and kill tennis, or we don't believe Nev and kill him lol

I actually think he is truthful about their being an escape route. I just wonder if he is leading us down the right route with his calls for us to return to the lake. Perhaps this is a place where the acolytes get to carry out more killings? It could also be the case that the acolytes also need to find an escape route. If so, it would make sense to work with us on that point.

I'm going to paraphrase and summarise here as I can't quote the info too closely to the PM I got.
Checked with Mito and I'm allowed to give you an overview though.

I am an ordinay townie, however under certain circumstances I can gain additional abilities to help town identify mafia and escape from the island.
(my PM refers to "Mafia" only hence my struggle to figure out if that meant the Guards or the Cult. I had no idea I was linked to the acolytes til now).

Brief backstory is I'm a conspiracy theorist. I was locked up here for saying crazy things about the government.

I believe that there are people (Mafia) on the island trying to kill me, however I have no proof.
If I am able to gain proof of this then I will gain information that I can use to help us survive and escape.

To qualify for the abilities I need to be responsible for the death of one of the mafia trying to kill me.
This means:
1. I need to be the FIRST person to vote for them for the lynch/escape.
2. I need to keep my vote there all day and not change.
3. They need to be lynched and turn out to be mafia.

If that happens then I will gain the following abilities:

Every day at daybreak I will receive 3 bits of info, however as I'm a bit crazy each one is only 67% accurate.
Info part (1) will relate to the direction we need to explore
Info part (2) will relate to a killing from teh previous night
Info part (3) will relate to the role of one person still alive in the game.
