The Invincibles has been a gift and a curse for Wenger. It will go down as one of the best Premiership sides in history, but it also highlights his struggle at creating a title winning side again. He peaked in the early 2000's but could never repeat those heights again. I don't think any of his later incarnations got remotely close and that includes his current team.

Just for fans and for fun.

I really cannot think of a player who would offer more or less what Freddie did,the pace, technical ability on the ball, ability to play 1-2s at pace and infiltrate as well as finish like a striker inside the box,the closest i could think was Pedro.

Possibly! He's a pretty damn good keeper. Not my no. 1 choice by a stretch but I do rate him. As it stands I'd probably pick de Gea.

I think de gea now is much much better than lehman was in 2004. Jens was always liable to do something either crazy or stupid as well as brilliant

That's a tough one... they were unique..

    Cech in for Lehmann maybe..
    RVP for Bergkamp?

I really have no idea though.
