I was thinking the same yesterday before the trial started. Plenty of adult women stay with abusive partners, so it's obvious a 15-year-old would be head-****ed by what was going on.

 

From what's being reported from court I think he met her twice, once to give her the shirt, and another time to molest her. He says it was just snogging. She says it went much further. Thus the two charges he's denying.

 

Whenever they drag people in under Yewtree I still wonder how the hell he never got done for it. Worse still, I seem to remember the tabloids at the time treating him like a hero. Actually, maybe that will be the defence's argument - it was Adam's audition to be the newest member of the Stones.

 

It'll be a waiting game most likely.

 

@commachio1 , There was two meetings, Aj has pleaded guilty to grooming and Kissing/groping. This is established so none of the evidence applies to those charges even though it will repeatedly come up in testaments throughout the trial. The other two charges relate to one further alleged incident which is claimed to have happened at the second meeting where she performed a sex act on him. Sounds like it was either a blowie or a hand job, fine details have yet to be published.

The claimant has admitted to lying on multiple occasions. In the first interview she did not disclose the sex act in 2nd meeting nor did she inform the police there was to be a third meeting that night. She also hid a evidence(phone) from the police, asked her friends to lie to the police and also withheld details from parents when she came clean. She said she did it to protect AJ but after AJ didn't protect her she decided to come clean about her claims. She told the police about the the sex act in the second interview.

That's pretty much up to today fella. The defence has continued questioning the girl this morning.

 

so far she appears to be exactly what she is, an immature 15 year old who had stars in her eyes.
No doubt the defence will take her story apart in forensic detail and he might even get off.
Even if he does the bottom line remains the same: in todays world what 28 year old man would ever put himself into a situation like that, even if he never physically touched her in any way............. only an idiot.

 

Speaking through tears for much of her evidence, the girl claimed she had been "bigging herself up" with some messages to friends on social media.

Referring to one Snapchat message which was pasted into Facebook, Mr Pownall asked about her saying: "He's picking me up this week and I'm riding him."

The teenager replied: "I was trying to big myself up as any 15-year-old girl would.

"When you idolise someone and that happens to you, you're not thinking at the time."

The girl wiped away tears as she told the jury she never thought she would end up explaining herself in court.

Mr Pownall again asked the girl whether she was just trying to protect herself.

She said: "I wasn't protecting myself. It made no difference to me whether they knew about me and Adam Johnson. It was him who was going to suffer for it."

The girl insisted to the court she never wanted to get Mr Johnson into trouble.

She said: "I didn't want that to happen to him. I saw myself as playing a part in it as well, I thought I'd done wrong too."

The girl began sobbing again and asked for a break.

Born in Sunderland, Mr Johnson began his career at Middlesbrough before moving to Manchester City and then on to Sunderland for £10m in 2012.

****ing hell teenage lasses have changed since I was that age. If all this is how any 15 girl would conduct themselves, If I have a daughter, she's getting packed off to a convent. Fear for any dads with daughters if that's the norm. I suspect however it's not. Just a small percentage of teenage girls with no class or morals would behave that way. Not buying that represents a normal 15 year old girl. If it is parents and society need to get a ****ing grip.

 

I'm telling ya, that comment has proper scared the **** out of me having kids.

Not all 15 year old girls are like that, at all. She's obviously one of the girls in the 'in-crowd' and was playing up to it and even giving it the 'big one' probably. He's still in the wrong like, the little weasel.

Sounds like they're both wrong uns for their own very separate reasons. Away, I'm glad AJ bagged a wrong un because it's ultimately got him caught if that makes sense? Hope to god the scum bag gets done for the extra charges but I can't see it on present evidence. Hopefully something solid is going to nail him to the wall.

Her parents and school need to take a long hard look at themselves and get that lass sorted out. She's 16 and a train wreak already and this whole episode will only make her mental health worse.

 

If I nailed a bird from a girl band and I was 15, I'd still be bragging about it today.
