We have this tradition at football matches of having a 15 minute break called 'half time'. Attendees at matches will be familiar with it. That's when I posted.

No doubt you'll blame Cellino for having a half time so he can sell more pies or some such twisted logic.

I also see you've a Celliber nut job on here too. There are a number suspected of setting up accounts by Cellino associates, crazy stuff coming from this guy. The protest was very successful last night and widely reported too. Good stuff, hopefully he sells up when banned.

Cheers Bucks, I don't beleive anyone can be as dangerous for Leeds as Cellino and hopefully the FL get thier wish, he's pissing a lot of people off including fans, FL and Sky. We got 100k for last nights game and crowd was 20k which for £37 (or £42 on the day) was to be expected, the average crowd for sky games is the same as normal games, so not sure who or what he's arguing about and the constant lying including he wrote about in the program last night only to be caught out again for lying a few hours later.

 

Bollocks. 20k is much smaller than our average crowd. 24k is more like it.

TV kills the crowd. £100k represents 2.5k tickets. That means we lost revenue from 1500 fans - though actually probably more, given the opposition. Even if it's only the 1500 drop, that still represents about £60k of a drop in revenue.

Fine when Sky visits you once or twice a year, like most clubs, but it's happening to us much, much more often. Not only that, the clubs with little inconvenience STILL get their £4.7m lump sum, or whatever it is. Would be better if it was a £100k lump sum and all the £4.7millions split up among those being televised.

Cellino has a point. People should actually listen to him before chucking teddy.

 

So refusing to play the game at 12.30 on the Saturday (which was offered) was whose fault?
When you realise the answer to this question, then you can point the finger at the loss of revenue for this particular game

You think 20k on a mon at £37 a ticket is sky's fault? We average 23k and that includes the other games we've been on sky and still got 23k, the 100k we get from sky more than covers the apparent losses. The figures are all there. Cellino lied again last night in the program saying he's looking after the fans first when he could have changed that game to a sat, meaning all the fans who lost out because of booked travel (again the clubs fault in the beggining by not telling the fans in December) woudln't have lost out.

He's looking out for himself only. If you can't see it now, you never will.

 

Keep up, TC. The offer was made in December in an attempt by the FL to stop the arbitration process. The process was not specifically about this match - it was fundamentally about Sky's control of fixtures. Therefore it was an irrelevance, and although not stated, it's safe to assume that it was conditional on dropping the arbitration process.

Now please feck off back to your own board. Our own Cellino haters are rabid enough without you stirring them up on an hourly basis. Elmo & Clive were banned for far less than the damage you inflict as 'fun'. I have no idea why our Mods allow your constant attacks on us.
