Get them all used up now. You'll be too busy in retirement to have any.

Found this on facebook. I have no great love for Boro, despite them establishing a great training facility in the village where I lived (Hurworth On Tees) but it cracked me up. image.jpg

It would be great if TWS could get a point or three - but it is TWS after all so don't hold your breath!

All this faux Leeds rivalry is a bit embarrassing.

Erm ... Do your homework ... You're conveniently forgetting that we won 2 European trophies. I wonder why that is?

And we've won the FA Cup and league cup! Which I think adds up to 2 Cups.?
2 X Charity Shield winners; Also league runners up five times, one of which was lost on goal difference to the (proper) scum. We would have averaged well over 40,000 when O'Dreary was manager - If the ground had been bigger that is. All relative isn't it. Wendies support is as inconsistent as anyone's, this season being a prime example despite their lofty heights. FYI we still averaged 36000 in the year we were relegated from the premiership. Wendies averaged 24,000 the year they got relegated. What's your average attendance this year?

You really do have a chip on your shoulder some of you guys about Leeds.

Having lived briefly near Hull in the mid 70s, there were just as many Man U 'fans' and Liverpool 'fans' as there were Leeds ... Why on earth did/do people 'support' teams from the dark side ...

Wednesday have won the FA Cup 3 times, the League Cup once and the Charity/Community Shield. So more domestic cups as well as Championships. Don't think you get out for being second. Most times Leeds were it didn't get you in the European Cup which was for Champions only back then.
As for attendances, I lived in Leeds in the late 1970s and the YEP was always complaining how poor Leeds crowds were in comparison to other clubs. In Sheffield over 40,000 are turning up in a smaller city for football every week. If Leefs got the same proportion of the population as a crowd as there is in Hull then they would be getting over 50,000. In addition in this smaller city 50% more are going to rugby than there are in Leeds.
Of course only one total matters. The amount of points we have.
Now run along, you will be getting cold stood in our shadow.
