Rumour has it that Martin Jol is interested in paulson (and i always thought he was a pretty sensible manager) but the fee may be a sticking point with Jol offering 1.5 mill while Lverpool are looking nearer to the 5mill we paid.
Do you think we should just cut our losses and let him go or are they right to hold out.

I have to say that I would let him go and get him off the wage bill.I don't know what he earns but whatever it is its too much.
    Apologies for spelling in title!!!

Cut our losses, 1.5M seems fair to me 2M tops considering his age and that he can only pass the ball sideways.

I'd take £1.5M to be honest. He was brought for £5M and has done nothing to suggest that he is still worth £5M.

If he does go, I wish him all the very best.

As long as this means bringing in a replacement, yes, let him go.

    If not, then, no.

Get rid of him for 5 pence and I'm happy.

Get him off the wage bill and promote Conor Coady,he does the same thing albeit better anyway.

He doesn't have a place in the squad.

We should approach this the same way we approach transfer targets. If they are part of our future plans we pay top dollar, if they aren't, we aren't fussed.

I reckon we should cut our losses and get rid,he's not going to get games anyway with the likes of Adam,Henderson,Gerrard,Mereiles,Spearing and lucas,Aquilani,Shelvey and Coady ahead of him.

Comparing Poulsen to any of the above except Spearing, Lucas and Coady is ridiculous.

£1.5m is more than we could have hoped for! I was expecting a Winston Bogarde scenario with him, Jovanovic and Cole for the next few seasons.

Talking of which, throw in Cole and Jovanovic when you send in a reply to Jol.

Maybe then he can start a bidding war with Harry Redknapp <laugh>

There we go Liverpool fans, Poulsen is the perfect example of why pace is important in football

He has little speed thus has failed in football last season.

A few years ago he was a better player because he had more pace

Granted, he had more "lace" and that is important in "footba" but not to the extent that you suddenly become horrific, as he has. He was semi-decent before. Physical declination has had an effect, but technically, he's got so much worse as well.

Don't forget Aquilani the pass master too - he can change a game without touching the ball such is his quality.

Martin Skrtel can slam revolving doors shut.He also gave Fergie the hair-dryer.He also tells the sun when to rise.
He also doesn't believe in God...He is God.He also ordered a KFC in Burger king and got it.
