According to Doctor Kish on his Charlton fansite, Yun Suk-Young is heading in their direction on loan next week. http://www.cafcpicks.com/cgi-bin/drkish/display.pl?month=201602&date=20160213&time=2128 So we seem to be stuck with Konchesky.
Utterly bizarre if true but then Yun can't seem to get a chance over a 34-year-old carthorse here on loan when we have nothing to play for.
Perhaps but I doubt it can be worth much to a team blowing £40k a week on some players still. I dread to think what those two full-backs have cost us in wages and fees.
I've always thought Yun was one of our better full backs, certainly not lacking in effort. Disappointed if he goes out on loan when Konchesky is so poor in comparison.
Yun for all his effort just looks totally lost to me whenever he plays. We've got enough Braindead players in our team as it is.
Personally, I cannot really remember Yun playing particularly well defensively, going forward he is better. The going forward should not be a problem with Phillips, Hoillet, El-K and even Petrusso around. We need a good defensive full back....and I do not think Yun is that. I am interested to see Robinson, who got rave reviews before his injury. Bottom line we need an heir and a spare for both the full back position.....and if Perch is just counting as the spare for the RB position.... and fingers crossed that Robinson is the heir to the left....we are very very very short in this department (Hoping Cole K and Furlong do come back much better players)..... I am not convinced Yun is the deal
Konch looks far better than Yun. I hope this means Robinson is ready to play again and is far better than both of them.
You're having a laugh!! Konchesky has been awful this season and Yun should be encouraged and allowed to play, or at least kept as back up to Robinson. This club is a ****ing joke!
I can't understand this at all He is energy both in defence and going forward The club should face complete collapse after this match If that stupid press department try to write up **** about this then they should face the sack. **** this club at the moment it's run by fools and I won't be joining in I enjoy my hobby too much We could easily be playing Charlton next year in Div One and then the club will need a total rebuild I bet most will leave the club in the summer . I am accelerating my French football visits
Don't have a problem with Yun - should be able to do a job for us in this division. Wonder if this is coming from our DOF
Even if Yun can't defend then play him wide left. Hoilett is off in the summer as Phillips probably is too. No one can say he's not looked an exciting wide player when played there. Seems ideal for a 4-4-2 as well.
Yun has never excited me at all, looks a back up LB at best. He's looked less and less convincing on every rare occasion he's played, confidence lost perhaps. An exciting wide player on our books?, thats Nasser.
He came in against Derby having not played for ages, looked really good then disappeared again. Whenever he's had a chance on the wing he's looked decent.
