Hernandez - fast and incisive, Elliot Ward's had may have just stopped spinning. Robertson - buccaneering attack, solid defence Davies - rock like. Albeit up against the combined might of Simeon Jackson and Chris ****ing Brown. Honourable mention to Huddlestone too. Dreadful in the first half, ponderous and slow. But got into it and made the difference in the second half with some superb passes. Though he was still ponderous and slow at times.
Robertson, Dave, Hernandez. Dawson unlucky to miss out in the top three as he makes defending look ridiculously easy.
I'll second this. Also, as AlRawdah said, Huddlestone was crap first half, but some of the through balls in the second were a joy to behold.
Odubajo Hernandez Huddlestone I can only assume that Brucie gave them a rocket at half time by the way they started the second period but it certainly worked.
Wouldn't be surprised. Thought Elmo looked lively when he came on as well, a kick up the arse probably did him good.
Not sure we can afford to have a quiet first half from anyone on Tuesday night. Thudd might not be the type of player we need early on. I'd put Meyler back in to start.
Moses aka. Dave Robertson Abel H Although another team effort today . The above 3 were my best 3 however the other 8 starters were all a very close equal 4 th .
Don't think we'll see a quiet first half and I don't think Brucey will put Meyler in, I think he will play Hayden and save him for Arsenal.
Did not see the match so no vote. Listened to the game on TP, Burnsy and Swanny at times were "cooing" over some of the touches that Hernandez had. HDM also had Abel as the starman.
On the radio they really liked Moses as well, at least Burns did. The Bruce interview after the game gave me the impression that Haydn would probably start v Brighton.
