Bleu Berry in the Newbury bumper is very well thought of by those involved with the horse.Has already won in France but needs to win here to enter the big one next month.Just waiting on best price atd mo,betfair opening price 5/2.
 
Burning Issues 20/1 4.35 Gow must have a decent chance of out performing those odd. Did not run as badly as form suggests in season reappearance at Thurles lto...pretty much blew up 2 out. Will improve a bundle on that and has performed well at Gowran on his 2 previous runs there. Trip suits.forecast conditions not a worry....too big a price definately.
 
Stenrubin 9/1
Captain Conan 13/2

Stenrubin is still on the upgrade and is super slick. From the front he should take some serious pegging back.

Captain Conan had a lovely run behind The New One to blow away any cobwebs, and should be just about match-fit for the big ones here. Dodging Bullets is on seasonal reappearance and whilst Nicholls thinks he is as fit as he has ever been first time up, it is still a big ask and a run he will be better for. Conan can book himself a ticket to the festival with a somewhat surprise victory here.
 
For a horse of little experience, Affaire D'honneur ran an absolute belter on British debut at Kempton and looks to have plenty going for him, including being tipped by the excellent Ben Linfoot, who gave me the 20/1 winner of this last year. That'll do for me.

Might have a saver on Sternrubin as I love the horse to bits. I thought they might be saving him for Cheltenham (I think he will be even better on good ground) but I guess this is a big pot.
 
Toppy has already put up Captain Conan and he is one of a trio of very interesting runners for Mr Henderson at Newbury. In the opening novice hurdle he saddles French-bred Argante, who won a couple of staying handicaps on the flat in France and makes his debut for the Seven Barrows operation here. In the second, and much more familiar to us, is dear old Fitri Hay's Argocat, who gets in here off 134 but is rated a whopping 22lbs higher over fences.

For a yard bang in form, these 3 at 9/1, 6/1 and 7/1 make a nice e/w patent <ok>

Either the jockey MP Walsh thinks this horse will win or he has some half price entry vouchers for Warwick Castle as it's a long way to come for one ride. Win bet.
 
Quite like Morning Assembly over in Ireland, as he should come on a fair bit for reappearance as is a cracking jumper. A chaser I have a lot of respect for and at 9/4 could be capable of out battling Ballycasey and Smashing.

I wonder if you can help. I've done an each way Yankee today but in 1 of the races the field is now only 4 runners. Does this make my bet void, reverts to a win only Yankee or is it just that 4 runner race that reverts as a win only race???? Thank you gents
 
On a side note ladies and gents- antepost accumulators- if there is a NR, does the accumulator become void or for example on a six-fold does it revert to a five-fold?

No I'm afraid. It's a loss. I got stung by don poli not running last week. I had a nice sixfold which the first five won. Arrrggghhh!!!!!!! :emoticon-0130-devil
