Good article on the Foxes by Barney Ronay: http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2016/feb/11/leicester-city-no-fairytale-claudio-ranieri ....but no mention of Pearson's part in the squad's assembly.
In some respects the story of Leicester this season is similar to the story of Phil Brown's City side in our first Premier League season. Collective belief, winning momentum, team spirit and a willingness to attack - these all overrode the fear and caution that might affect many when pitched against such elevated and exalted opponents. The key difference is that when it went wrong for Leicester - the middle part of last season, and the thumping off Arsenal this - they kept true to their convictions. Whereas with Brown's City they withstood one setback (the Wigan gubbing when the away team had four shots on target all match and scored five goals) but withdrew into their defensive shell after the second (the 1-4 home defeat against Sunderland). And we paid a heavy price for losing that spirit.
I wouldn't say that, Geovanni is better than Mahrez, George Boateng was better than Kante, Bullard better than Drinkwater, Turner better than Huth, Gardener/Zayatte better than Morgan, Ricketts better than Simpson, Dawson better than Fuchs and on and on. The only position where they're stronger is up front.
Dream on Mr Hat, I admire your enthusiasm for the then Hull City squad but you are way off the mark, may Leicester City's incredible season continue and last weekends result is proof it's no fluke, must be mind blowing being a Leicester fan at the moment
