I think Clyne RB, Flanno LB makes the most sense. We loose width but gain defensively. I want to see Sturridge and Coutinho play with freedom. Let Firmino and Lallana/Allen press and work space. On paper: Lallana Sturridge Coutinho Firmino The biggest issue we need to confront is the spine of the team. GK, CB and CM. Our GK is not good enough. Lucas should be tried at CB but we need to chose a pairing for a settled run of games. We cannot keep chopping and changing. I see no harm in giving Stewart ago. I'm not so keen on the Can and Henderson airing. The spine is where we need to invest the most.
“If you then see Tiago Ilori. When I first came here I didn’t know he was an LFC player to be honest. Of course not, he was at Aston Villa. “Time after time I got information about all the players who were on loan, I saw him,a centre-half, and you heard about the problems and you know he didn’t play at Aston Villa, not even in the second team. “We got him here and you see then the potential. That’s good but they have all to learn, all to improve but they gave the sign but it is one sign. “Life is all about consistency. They have to go on, accept the situation, it’s important that they see the positive in the situation that they made the next step and now train, train, train and be available more often.”
moreno definitely needs to be sold...1 footed, can't cross and can't shoot. very error prone... pen he gave away at norwich just confirms what an utter brain dead useless piece of garbage he is.
I know he's been poor lately, but I would still pick Ibe over Lallana if we're having 4 forwards. His pace worries defenders and he does try to go on the outside of defenders. Those 4 would be far too narrow - especially if you pick Clyne and Flanno who are limited up the pitch. Ibe can shine under Klopp, he's still a kid with lots to learn. I'd definitely play Stewart and Can though behind them, or even Stewart and Allen.
It doesn't matter..In three years time Carra is going to manage Liverpool and Suarez is going to be his first signing....Fact! Lol
But Flanno can't run, lacks energy, can't defend, can't cross, doesn't provide width, lacks leadership and he's scouse! #sarcism (Well, apart from him being scouse, that bits true. Jimmy just loves a bit of #racism)
Was this the season where he was the most dribbled past defender or was is it the one where he was part of a defence that conceded 50 goals?
Pretty sure it was the one where he received wide praise from fans, media and players and had the rest of the defence played any where close to the level he played at, we'd have walked the league.
By the end of this season 50 conceded will seem great. The defence this season is utter dogshit!! 6th worst in the PL. Flanno is a far better defender than Moreno and right now, defending should be a priority.
