    My point was more about him not being smart enough to appreciate the consequence of his actions.

    You have to wonder what goes through someone's mind. Maybe he really thought he was untouchable. His family, his career, his whole life ruined because he couldn't control himself around a teenager. I don't condone adultery but ive come to accept most footballers lack morals when it comes to being faithful.

    Having said that, out of all the women in the world, he couldn't keep his hands off an underage girl? And he groomed her? I'm convinced you have to have mental issues to actually do such a thing. A grown man grooming a teenager must have serious issues. And not just that, but to risk your freedom, career and reputation over it speaks volumes.

    Good riddance. This scumbag doesn't represent Sunderland and I'm sure all football fans agree. He hasn't tarnished your name, just his own.
