I tried watching it in the 80s when it was on the TV over here in the UK. Never got into it, it seems like a more complicated version of Rugby Union or League. But with helmets and pads. I know it's massive in the states as one of my mates went to Uni in Seattle and he could not believe the attendances for college American Football. I did own a pair of 'Pony Linebacker' trainers back in the day, when they were all the rage - they were born from American Football and as I was a bit of a trainer hoarder (still am) they were a great addition . please log in to view this image
I watched last years super bowl in a cell not much bigger than 8 foot long and 6 foot wide , on a small tv with no sound so the screws didnt hear ... This year , drinking Bud with a few mates and few birds in front of a massive 50 inch TV on the wall ... Funny old game
