Aliens have abducted Scully and replaced her with a shorter doppleganger.

Apparently Gillian Anderson always used to stand on a box when filming in the original shows, but refused to do it this time.

Just finished watching it, quite enjoyed seeing the old gang back together. I lost interest in the original show when they wouldn't shut up about conspiracies for whole seasons at a time so I was disappointed that the word conspiracy cropped up so much in the new episode.

It looks like the next episode will get back on track with investigating weird **** which is what we all liked about it in the first place right?

Not so sure, seems to me like this whole series is just gonna be them trying to get to the bottom of the "big conspiracy", which incidentally made every single previous season completely ****ing pointless <laugh>

It's probably just wishful thinking on my part, I think I saw some freaky looking fella with sharp teeth on the 'next week' bit so I'm hoping for the best. God knows why the conspiracy angle is so important, can't Chris Carter write a thesis on government cover ups, get it off his chest and get on with making good tv.

In the library I asked the librarian where she keeps the books on conspiracy theories.
"They're right behind you," she said ... so now my missus is threatening to have me committed ... or is that what the government wants me to think...

Well if you like the x files, have you seen Kolchak, great series I bought the complete series and excellent. 'The night gallery' is a follow on from the twilight zone, and is very good and in colour which I am watching at the moment. I have all the episodes of the original twilight zone, and the outer limits, Alfred Hitchcock presents, the veil with Boris Karloff, and probably the best ever series was 'one step beyond' there is about 40 episodes in my set, I may be selling them all as a lot in the future on ebay so will let you know if interested.

Not hearing good things about this from people who download it and have watched a few episodes. I was looking forward to it.

I believe this is going to be quite a short series (6, I think), if I can resist I'm planning to record them all and watch the lot in 1 or 2 hits.

Hopefully not too much conspiracy crap, we'll see.
