Fair play to the Scousers yesterday. At least they havent fallen for the, we are selling some for ten bob-about 20 of em, arent we a good club bollocks. Like a lot on here think about Man City.
Alan Shearer had it right in Match of the Day last night. With the new money coming into the premier league there is simply no justification for clubs putting prices up. And £20 or £30 tickets should be the norm.
I just saw this on Facebook that seems to be getting shared. I assume it's legit as it sits with what people have said about Bundesliga!
That sums up ( see what i did there ) the financial side of things very well. On the other side, by using higher ticket prices you can engineer the demographics of your support. Basically keep the riff raff out. A stadium full of well behaved rich pensioners rather than boisterous teens. The former more likely to buy programs, food and drinks the later need more stewards and police. With the amount of money in the game football could be free like the air we breath, but it's not going to happen.
The sooner the EPL and the owners realise that the fans are like extras in a film and that they are an integral part of the show the better. A full stadium is a much better TV spectacle than a half empty ground. Uli Hoeness has it right.
It's the same thing every club does. City tried it when the Price of Football showed our cheapest season ticket was one of the highest in English football. "Ah but out child's prices are good." Which is really helpful when the parent can't afford to take them. It's bollocks as you say, but from memory don't Man City actually have quite a lot of the cheaper tickets?

£30 for an adult is the most any PL match ticket should cost. £15 for all others. From the mega increase of tv cash from 2016 No Club can excuse anything more. Simple as. £20 is plenty - However I don't see it going that low.
