I asked because it would tell me whether his a slow starter as a manager or not. Does it take time for him to get his stamp on the club? I was also hoping his first season records were poor just to shut Binomial up
They are different as the circumstances are different. 1. At every other club, and mainz in particular he walked in in may and had a full summer and preseason. 2. At both mainz and dortmund it took 2 seasons to get them to success. 3. each club had radically different set ups and purchasing powers to us. Its literally that simple.. its not comparable and a totally different challenge. Thus far his achievements the WUMs would have you look at is just the league table, and league table alone. The fact this chap wants you to follow the same way of thinking that treble and tobes are saying just shows..... Lets ignore anything good and look at the league table.... lets ignore a cup final and a decent enough europa league improvement to get us to the last 32. lets ignore the change in form of firmino who looked lost under rodgers.. lets just look at our January form and our place in table and whine about klopp. Its all just fear and grudging respect for our manager and wanting to do him down. simple as.
I know the leagues are different but the individual isn't. Some players have a fast start and a slow end (Giroud & Ramsey), others are the opposite (Kane). Managers taking new jobs will be the same. That's why I wanted to see season by season breakdown; it would show the first season in comparison to the later seasons.
