Had a little read. Interesting points are that RD made the call to sack Fraeye - KM, RM, JJ and hendo apparently against it. If true - that's very disappointing personally.

Fraeye mentions injuries, and whilst it wasn't an ideal time, he still made strange decisions like swapping full backs during games - to then change them back. Solly found himself back in the CM role and let's not forget starting games with 4 strikers on the pitch. He has to take responsibility for that.

Lee Tomlin - probably the bit that pissed me off the most. He's a clear top 10 player, and we let him slip through our fingers. To a relegation rival. I hope we don't live to regret that at 16:55 tomorrow.

Made me more pissed off against Roland, that he let two quality players pass through us. The protests must continue against him. I've not been enthusiastic about Sanogo or Fanni, who been injured or playing in some crap league.

Tomlin and Kermorgant are proven players!

It also contradicts KM claims that she does the hiring and firing when discussing post'udders.

Why do people follow Roland? Peeters, Luzon and now Fraeye have all ended up speaking out. It's evident you get very little from taking him up on job offers.

Typical Fraeye - no evidence of self analysis or self awareness in any of his comments. He was great and everyone else was sh1t. [including the fans]

Yep - a weak man. Knew he was sacked, so instead of going out with dignity (ha), apologising to the travelling fans - he sulked in plain view for all to see.

Disappointing to see people having sympathy with him.

It was rumoured that he looked at CAFC forums. I think it is evident in that piece.

The only Fraeye analogy I can use is that I walk past St Thomas's Hospital on my way to work every day - if I was beckoned in by a patient and asked to perform open heart surgery on them - no matter if I *thought* I was a good surgeon because I watched Holby City every week - I would definitely kill the patient because I don't have the skills or knowledge for that task. That was Fraeye at Charlton - when he got the job, I Tweeted a picture of his last team FC Hamme's stadium - it made Welling look like the Emirates. KF never for one minute had the skills or expertise to carry the job off. Players heads visibly dropped and in how many games did we totally lose our shape?

KF has the cheek to criticise the hostility of Charlton fans - he is lucky he escaped in one piece - if we were Millwall, he would have taken a few right handers after Colchester.

His final comment in the interview is the most revealing - that he is 'pleased' with the level of interest shown in him by other clubs [PMSL] and that he still 'hopes' to manage in England. With Karel it was always about 'him' and he remains utterly deluded to this day.

This is a guy who took a job in the Belgium third division though. Offers from the Vanarama (if he's lucky) is still a step up.

Wonder if he's still in Greenwich.

KF strikes me as being an over ambitious, oily glory seeker - the Head of Recruitment who only admitted to recruiting Igor and Baeur <doh>

Very selective piece. No mention of playing Vaz Te at Huddersfield or any of the crass decisions he made. Of Course JJ and Hendo are going to say the "right" thing when Fraeye had been called into the room. They had probably been told that another disaster would see Fraeye go but until that time he had to be given support. I do not believe that either deliberately underperformed at Huddersfield - I was there and they both put in a shift. Simple fact is we could all see he was a disaster from early doors, his introspection was not good enough to see his own failings and it took a disaster for Murray Obedynski and Miere to even recognise the failings. Probably find that Roland was told by his accountant!

Don't forget that Mr Magoo- Murray was 100% behind Fraeye to the bitter end - Rick Everitt reported that Muzza told him that he STILL believed Karel was the right man for the job <doh>

The interview with KF sheds more light on just what a dysfunctional club we have become.

All the above true BUT I don't get all the Rigga love and how he's his own man makes his own decisions and not a Roland yes man...of course he is 100% if he wasn't Roland wouldnt employ him.
Yes he's the best of the crap we've had but people are abit carried away making out he's some kind of fergie who rules the club.
He's not Roland says jump he says how high .

Riga will be gone by November. Then he can join the "bitter ex-employee" club and make statements to Cawley too.

Same **** will happen, Riga will keep us up, people will renew season tickets (less than this year). He'll be undersupported in the summer after many promises and when the injuries mount he'll be buggered, Duchatelet will pull the trigger and bring in the St Trinians man. The protests will begin to appear again and on and on it'll go.

It's very easy for Carol to say that he had this or that player lined up to join us now he's gone....he actually signed Vaz Te, Johnson, an unfit centre back in Williams from Boro and a massively out of form Poyet........ not a good record.

I actually ploughed through this thinking he'd chosen now to reveal more stuff about his time in the dugout. turns out to be Elfsbourgs finest hour revisited. Were you really in the home end that day Elfs?
